"On 14 March 2009, Bristol Rovers headed up the M5 the Banks's Stadium to face Walsall in their thirty-fifth League Two game of the 2008-09 season. First team coach Paul Trollope named an unchanged starting eleven from the previous match, a 3–0 victory at Hereford United, and made one change on the bench, with club captain Stuart Campbell recovering from 'flu and taking Sean Rigg's spot. The game itself was a completely one-sided affair from the beginning, with Rovers taking a 2–0 lead inside the first six minutes. The Pirates scored three more times by the end of the match, to record a 5–0 win. The game proved to be a landmark one, with it resulting in the biggest ever winning margin for Rovers over Walsall up to that point, and Aaron Lescott scoring his first two goals for the club in his 207th appearance in all competitions. The remaining goals were scored by Darryl Duffy (2) and Craig Disley."@en .
