"Owner of The Old Haunt"@en . "Donny Hayes"@en . "Donald \"Donny\" Hayes is a one-time dockworker turned bar owner who is found floating in the East River at the start of Last Call. Donny, through his grandfather, Leo the Legend, who ran the same bar, The Old Haunt, leads Castle and Beckett through an intertwining labyrinth of past and present, in which the central figure seems to be Beau James, New York's own former mayor. Though the duo discover that Donny was killed in panic and due to greed by Steven Heisler, there is, for once, a material reward for them, as the DA determines that the stash of scotch is city property, and Castle is permitted to purchase a 135 year-old bottle of the amber nectar, which he elects to crack open with his comrades-in-arms in his other recent investment, The Old Haunt. As far as possible, it would seem Donny's spirit has cause to be at peace, and not to haunt The Old Haunt."@en . "Donny Hayes"@en . . . "Leo"@en . "\"Last Call\""@en . . "230"^^ .
