. "Legio XIX"@en . . "The previous incarnation of the Nineteenth met with a tragic end many years ago when the foolish then-General Schenitz personally oversaw the destruction of four entire cohorts of soldiers by ordering them deep into the Abyss, believing he had trapped an enemy commander - when it was discovered that it was he, himself, that had been drawn into a trap. After Schenitz' disgraceful end, the Nineteenth's remaining cohorts were disbanded and transferred into existing legion vacancies. With the rapidly rising level of conflict with the Elyos and the recent influx of Daeva recruits, however, the Nineteenth was again resurrected. The reformed legion's command post was given to an untested young noble, Akleron of House Anselm, and wished the best of luck as many of the military's greenest, oddest, and otherwise atypical recruits were transferred in under his command. It is with this awkward, ramshackle group of less-than-ideal soldiers that Akleron will try forge his reputation and the Nineteenth will once again rise to honorable standing.
