"Amia is a Neverwinter Nights roleplay persistent world that was started in December 2004 as a clone of another roleplay persistent world named Arelith. The split between the two servers was caused by different views on how things are done between the Dungeon Masters at that time, and relations between Arelith and Amia are good at the moment. The original Arelith module has been changed a lot. The modules share some common names and areas, but the bulk of the content is new. The server is broken up into two modules: Amia Island, which is Amia itself, a popular island far west of the Sword Coast that attracts thrillseekers and opportunists from all over Faer\u00FBn with the promise of adventure, and Amia Abroad, which includes environs both original and familiar, including the rocky and inhospitable Ruathym, a wintery ancestral dwarven homeland called Brogendenstein, the hoary reaches of the great northern Frozenfar, and the dark underbelly of the Forgotten Realms, the deadly Underdark. Travel between locations on these servers is accomplished with boats and portals, creating the illusion of one huge module with up to 130 players covering most of the Sea of Swords. Amia is a roleplay server, though Amia's DMs and designers work diligently to create a module that is equally appealing to the player who seeks a good story and the player who seeks action. An active DM team keeps the universe fresh and exciting while experiened designers upload module changes in response to players' roleplay. In addition, Amia boasts a consistently large playerbase between both modules. The Amia community is comprised of roleplayers and is based at the server's website. Amia itself boasts custom content including ready-to-play subraces, a deity system with special prayer functions and benefits, the popular Mythal Crafting System (MCS), a Mystran innovation that allows adventurers to have their equipment custom-enchanted, and our new job system that provides characters an opportunity for experience, gold, and roleplay that does not involve hunting spawns. Amia is not aimed at an exclusively adult audience. A moderate and tasteful environment that appeals to a broad range of players is expected. Therefore public and private cybering, as well as excessively graphic torture, are prohibited. The server contains over 600 areas and has a level cap of 30. It requires the Amia hak pak[1] and both Shadows of Undrentide and Hordes of the Underdark to play."@en . . . "Alive"@en . "Kyko"@en . . "None"@en . . . "Amia"@en . "N/a"@en . . . . .
