"Those who believe in the Buffalo Curse cite as examples the four consecutive Super Bowl losses by the Buffalo Bills from 1990-1993 and their failure to even reach the conference playoffs in subsequent years. The heart breaking loss due to the Music City Miracle in 2000 might have been the last straw for the Buffalo Bills who have failed to make another playoff appearance since."@en . "Those who believe in the Buffalo Curse cite as examples the four consecutive Super Bowl losses by the Buffalo Bills from 1990-1993 and their failure to even reach the conference playoffs in subsequent years. The heart breaking loss due to the Music City Miracle in 2000 might have been the last straw for the Buffalo Bills who have failed to make another playoff appearance since. The curse is also demonstrated in the failure of the Buffalo Sabres to ever win the Stanley Cup. The most notorious example came in Game 6 of the 1999 Stanley Cup Finals when Brett Hull of the Dallas Stars clinched the cup for Dallas with the infamous No Goal. One recent example was shown in 2006, when the Sabres lost to the Carolina Hurricanes in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals. The most recent example was shown in 2007, when the Sabres lost to the Ottawa Senators in 5 games in the Eastern Conference Finals. 3 of those losses were by one goal. Despite such curses, Buffalo fans remain optimists and the Sabres were voted the best team that gave back to their fans in 2007 for any sport. Buffalo is also the orginal home of the Los Angeles Clippers then known as the Buffalo Braves who have redefined the term futility. Buffalo was also the original home of the Boston Red Sox."@en . . . . . . .
