"Infinity, Inc. and Betty Clawman, together with a recov-\nered Dan Richards, visit Molly Scott in her hospital room,\nas she recuperates from the broken arm and fractured leg\nshe sustained in the car crash caused by Marcie Cooper, the\nnew Harlequin. Then a contingent consisting of Nuklon, Wildcat, Hour-\nman, and Mr. Bones flies Betty back to her native Australia\nin the Star-Rocket Racer. Arriving in the outback, they stop\nat a tavern suggested by Wildcat, where they meet the\nTasmanian Devil, the Australian member of the Global\nGuardians, whom Wildcat has arranged to have accom-\npany them. The super-heroes soon meet Betty's aboriginal tribe,\nwho are impressed with the colorful costumes and powers\nof the male heroes, but who all but ignore Wildcat. Excluded\nfrom witnessing one of the tribe's secret ceremonies, which\nare for men only, Wildcat passes the time by touring the\ncaves inside nearby Ayers Rock. Suddenly, the bizarre\npaintings on the cave walls seem to come alive and menace\nWildcat, until Betty appears and causes them to recede and\nseemingly become mere paintings again. For all her former\nboredom with their errand, Wildcat is visibly impressed with\nthis experience, and when the men return, the Infinity\nmembers depart. Back in Los Angeles, a retiring Todd Rice is approached\nby his sister Jennie-Lynn, who quickly proves to be Marcie\nCooper in one of her illusion-disguises. A battle erupts\nbetween Obsidian and the Harlequin, who has escaped the\nother super-heroes' final battle with the remaining Man-\nhunters. The real Jade joins the fight, but Marcie prevails\nand is about to kill the twins when Dan Richards enters,\narmed with a handgun. The Harlequin tricks her grandfa-\nther with another illusion, and is about to shoot him with his\nown weapon when Jade recovers and tries to stop her. As\na result, Marcie's shot goes slightly astray, only wounding\nRichards. Marcie herself falls, striking her head, and is\nknocked out, while Richards smashes the Harlequin glasses\nbefore blacking out."@en . . . . "1"^^ .
