Located on the shores of Outset Island, a tall wooden tower which Aryll uses when gazing out at the Great Sea and the seagulls with her telescope. In the opening scene of the game, Link awakens atop Aryll's Lookout where he had apparently slept overnight, to Aryll calling for him. She reminds him that it is his birthday and tells him to return home so his grandmother can give him his present. Aryll also gives him her most treasured item, her telescope, allowing him to use it for the day. With it, Link spots the monstrous Helmaroc King flying towards Outset Island, being chased by a pirate ship. This pirate ship turns out to be owned by Tetra who has been kidnapped by the Helmaroc King, and from here, the game's plot unfolds and Link's quest to save the Great Sea begins.
