It is set in an alpine area with RED and BLU attempting to control all three control points in the area. Standin is the first officially-distributed Three Point Free-For-All map. The moment one team is in possession of all three control points, that team will immediately win the round, even if one or more of the control points are in the process of being captured by the other team. An effective strategy for a team in possession of one control point is to focus most of their team members to defending that point so they will not immediately lose, while having their remaining team members pick one of the other points and attack that point (ignoring the third point). A team in possession of two control points should focus most of their team members in attacking the third control point so they can quickly secure a victory, while leaving a few team members at the other two points to defend and buy time for the attacking group. Standin has been played in competitive leagues such as ESEA and UGC."@en . . "Standin is a control point map.
