In Metroid Ex, the factory explodes as Bioroid Delta III rampages across the station. Diesel mentions that the explosion is among several other incidents on the station, including an accident at the rail yard. Samus Aran pursues the Bioroid to the factory, though it escapes before she can destroy it. We discover that the Bioroid, known to Joey Apronika as the friendly U-ton, took the scrap he provided to Joey from this factory.
