The Taro Division was part of the Italian II Corps that took part in the Battle of Greece and the Invasion of Yugoslavia. It remained in Yugoslavia as an occupation force in Montenegro and after July 1941, in Croatia. In 1942 it was sent to Albania and then home to Italy. In November 1942 it took part in the invasion of Vichy France. The Division was disbanded after the Italian surrender to the Allies in September 1943."@en .
