CBT built tractors and SUVs similar to Jeeps. It went bankrupt in about 1999. The early tractors were based on designs licensed from Oliver and were initially sold under the Oliver brand and later under the CBT Oliver or Oliver-CBT brands for a while. In 1961, a new factory in San Carlos began churning out the 'CBT tractors. CBTs were exported to the USA in the early 1980s, after which the company withdrew from the market, only to re-enter the USA market in 1989. CBT-USA was based in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
