The dungeon is only accessible in the Present Age, as in the Past, Lord Jabu-Jabu is not yet big enough for Link to enter. Link can only enter after he has cleansed the ocean and received permission from King Zora. The dungeon inside his belly is different than in its appearance in Ocarina of Time; the composition is like that of a normal dungeon, and is strangely unlike the inside of a living being, though pores can be seen all over the walls, opening and closing constantly. There are also buttons that seemingly control his bodily functions, as they are used to fill or empty Lord Jabu-Jabu with water."@en .
