"Ron Loustel (born March 7, 1962 in Gilbert Plains, Manitoba) was a goaltender. He made one appearance for the Winnipeg Jets in 1980-81. He enjoyed a fairly solid amateur career but his minor pro tenure was two minutes longer than his stay in the NHL. The Winnipeg native excelled in 44 games with the BCJHL's Kelowna Rockets in 1978-79. He then moved up to the Saskatoon Blades of the WHL and made 138 appearances for them over a three-year period. The young netminder was also selected 107th overall in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft by the Winnipeg Jets."@en . . . "Ron Loustel (born March 7, 1962 in Gilbert Plains, Manitoba) was a goaltender. Loustel's NHL career consisted of one disastrous start in 1980-81 when he was left helpless and allowed ten goals. That year he also played half a game for the CHL's Tulsa Oilers but spent the bulk of the year in junior. He retired in 1983 after struggling with a 7.08 goals against average with the junior Brandon Wheat Kings and playing 33 minutes of a game for the Fort Wayne Komets of the International Hockey League."@en . . . . . .
