Kazumi tells them there is no place for lies in her new anti-technology world of Japan. She explains she is new-bushido and heals Debbie's wounds.\n\nA man named Mash arrives and accuses Led Dent of a heinous past. When Led doesn't budge, the man cracks up laughing as he says he was only kidding and tells them he gives all newcomers a hard time.\nleft|thumb|Led asks Debbie to marry him.\nLater, Led continues to tell Debbie he thinks they should find the EMP and complete their mission. Debbie reminds him they have all they could possibly need here. She stuck by him even with his technology difference and believes they can now start anew. He thinks about how he was too weak to protect her, and perhaps his whole life was driven by fear instead of love. He half-ass proposes to her as they sit in a beautiful garden. Debbie accepts.\n\nAt the same time, Mash appears in the shadows and watches the duo. He speaks aloud to himself that he wasn't really kidding early and recognizes Led as an ex-constable.
