Having an unsuccessful season last year, Jordan signed a contract to race the Hart 1035 engines for 1993. Jordan's 1993 season was another unsuccessful one. The gearbox had numerous problems throughout the season, the car lacked the active suspension and the wheelbase was too short for the car. The performance was very poor throughout the season, despite that Jordan made a double-points finish at the Japanese Grand Prix, with Barrichello finishing 5th and Irvine 6th. Jordan finished 11th in the Constructors' Championship with 3 points. __TOC__"@en . "16"^^ . . .
