I got a group of girls together and we designed 'Detonator' over a lunchtime session, produced a proposal diagram and shipped it out to Mentorn.\" \u2014 David Crosby on entering Robot Wars. David Crosby's students were the first high-profile female roboteers in Robot Wars history, with Greenaway and Allgood driving the robot in most of its battles; Clare Greenaway also became the only female roboteer in history to complete The Gauntlet, coming first in the Semi-Finals.
