After the invasion failed, he ordered work for it to be formed to immediately begin, by the Trade Federation. The early organization was known as the Federation Intelligence Directorate. As the Clone Wars broke out in 22 BBY, the Confederacy reformed and expanded the organization, officially known as Separatist Intelligence. The first director was Sakura Namada, a Twi'lek who had earlier worked for the Corporate Alliance. It created a large network of spies and informants during the conflict, even bribing a number of clone troopers within the Grand Army of the Republic, and members of the Senate Guard. One such spy was a Kubaz known as Orlock. After the conflict ended with Order 66 and the Declaration of the New Order, Separatist Intelligence was disbanded with the rest of the Confederacy, however, many assets continued to work, for the Imperial Intelligence and the Imperial Security Bureau. Sakura Namada, the former director, was executed later after working as an Intelligence lieutenant in 1 ABY for spying for the Alliance to Restore the Republic"@en . .
