Their attacks are dangerous as they can produce status ailments and also can heal themselves. Typically as they appear in pairs, it is important to focus on one or keep the other stunned if possible so they don't destroy Aya. Metabolism or status recovery items are very, very important as well. If the player decided to return to Dryfield after solving the full moon puzzle, after returning to the Shelter, the first Brain Stinger (Fred Bowman) will have to be fought in one of the B1 corridors, to find the key item, Bowman's Card.
