. "Overview A small island located on the eastern reaches of the Island Nations Federation, holding a colony that serves as somewhat of a 'border island' between the Federation and the Falena Queendom. The colony was established on Nirva not long after the first official diplomatic contact between the two nations, in the mid to late 300's. As Nirva lies on the fringes of the Federation, pirates sometimes operate in the vicinity, leading to the stationing of soldiers and ships in the area for security reasons. Nirva Island is a small island, and as such, is already mostly settled with the town of Nirva itself. The island also holds a fleet base for Island Nations Federation Navy vessels. Nirva Lighthouse Nirva Lighthouse, located on the northern peak of the island, is the largest such lighthouse revealed to date, being fueled by oil. The lighthouse is a necessity due to the large amount of shallow rocks and rocky islands in the area. In 449, local pirates, worried that the arrival of the Lino en Kuldes heralded a crackdown on pirating in the area, holed themselves up in the lighthouse, threatening to burn it down if the Federation flagship did not depart from the area immediately. A disaster was adverted thanks to the efforts of Bernadette Egan and Freyjadour Falenas. Following their arrest, another bunch of pirates attempted to have the captain released by kidnapping a young child. Again, a crisis was averted and the offenders apprehended with the help of the Prince, as well as the puppeteer and expert voice actress, Chisato.
