"George Booth is a midfielder who came through the Rovers youth system, progressing through to the club's professional ranks in 2009, alongside Neikell Plummer, Dan Cayford, Eliot Richards, Ollie Clarke, Mark Cooper, Steve Kingdon and Jack McKenna. He was not included in any matchday squads during his first season with the senior side, and after still not having made an impact on the team midway through his second season he was sent out on loan to Longwell Green Sports. After returning from loan he was eventually named as a substitute for the first time on 8 March 2011 in Stuart Campbell's first game as caretaker manager following the dismissal of Dave Penney, a 1\u20130 victory away to Tranmere Rovers. He never made it on to the pitch however, and less than a month later he was released by the club along with Mark Cooper and Jack McKenna, joining Weston-super-Mare for the end of the 2010\u201311 season."@en .
