Feeling gratitude towards Intendant Kira Nerys for having both his father and his uncle killed and allowing the bar to come into his hands, Nog helped Kira escape from the station after it was captured by the Terran Rebellion in 2372. When she arrived at the airlock, however, Intendant Kira killed Nog with a phaser on the off chance that he might tell the rebels that she had escaped.
