Each unprotected Bloon popped (so Ceramic Bloons and the like don't count) adds 1 to the in-game Rubber count, which is added to an actual Rubber counter when you complete the track (when you reach the last wave and you get the option to freeplay). However, to prevent players from easily getting Rubber, the amount you are cashed in at the end of the game varies with difficulty: 30% Rubber from Easy mode; 60% Rubber from Medium mode and 100% Rubber from Hard mode.
