"The Bolakliiga is the highest level of the Uralikan Jalkapalloliiga, and was founded along with its two subordinate leagues (the Ykk\u00F6nen and the Kakkonen) on 30 May 2008, when 36 clubs finally agreed to form 3 leagues of twelve, to begin play next spring. The twelve clubs forming this league were considered to be the best in terms of club infrastructure. At the end of each season, the bottom three teams are relegated to the Ykk\u00F6nen, to be replaced by the top two of the same plus the winner of a four-team playoff."@en .
