Nickelodeon premiered four specials to summarize the first two seasons and introduce Winx Club to its viewers, then bring them up to speed for Season 3. Three of those specials revolved around Season 1 and Bloom coming to realize her identity and powers. Only one special briefly explained Season 2 in order to introduce Aisha and the Pixies to the series. Specials is a life action TV show about a people mysteriously gaining superpowers one day, focusing on a group of teenagers. The series shows them adapting to their powers and clashing with more immoral specials while trying to stay hidden in high school. Specials have long been a part of TGWTG.com's history. The whole site has taken part of these videos which set themselves apart from the usual shows they produce for Channel Awesome. Some of the specials are videos that were once exclusive to the Premium Area section of the site. Specials is a race of creature that is shared between all civilizations. The specials began on 25 December 2002 and have continued through to 2011. The Harper family Christmas's are partiulary bad, and usually end in an argument. In the first special Janey comes home from University pregnant, in the second special they are stuck in the london underground, in the third special Janey gets engaged, in the comic relief special the family end up in Ben and Susans room during a thunder-storm, in the fourth special Susan is celebrating Kenzo's birthday on Christmas Eve, in the fifth special Ben is pretending to be ill (to avoid Christmas) and Susan takes him to hospital (only to be taken in for high blood pressure), in the sixth special Susan and Ben go away alone (although Susan has secretly invited the whole family), in the seventh special Ben and Susan get locked in the shopping centre and some pretty risque photos are recieved (instead of the family ones Alfie, Michael and Janey wanted), in the eighth special the family in the future remember two of their worst Christmas's, in the ninth special to famous faces pop up as Susan and Mr. Casey go head to head, and in the tenth christmas special (yet to be aired) nobody knows what to expect as we say goodbye to the Harpers. Will Nick and Alfie return? And what lies in store for us in the last ever episode? Two specials have been released for the series. The last special, the, Patagonia Special aired in 2014, as part of Top Gear's twenty-second series. Typically, the specials were one-off episodes but later the format changed - in the Africa, Burma, and Patagonia Specials, which were broadcast in two parts. Special episodes will continue in the presenters' new show, The Grand Tour, with a two-part special set in Namibia, entitled The Beach (Buggy) Boys, set to air in late December 2016.
