The Flood
rdfs:comment
The Flood are Halo enemies seen in World 9-6, The Library. They are the only enemies in this level and are also bosses (in the flood rush areas of the level). There are three types of Flood. The Flood is a parasitic alien creature that appears in the popular first-person shooter series, Halo. This organism is focused on killing and absorbing every sentient creature it can find, similar to that of a common zombie. The Flood is an episode in the Hey Arnold! TV Series. For hundreds of millions or perhaps even billions of years before the creation of the Halo array, the Milky Way galaxy and all life in it was overseen by the Precursors. They wished to pass on their "Mantle of Responsibility" (a philosophy whereby a "steward race" which held the Mantle would be entitled to oversee the evolution and cultivation of life in the galaxy) to ancient humans. This did not go down well with ancient Forerunners who waged war against the Precursors and drove them to near extinction. This war took place ten millions years BCE and its details are lost even to the Forerunners themselves. The Flood is a flag founded by Cronk on the Cerulean Ocean originally the Midnight Ocean in the year 2005 on September 18. The Flood is a Doctor Who comic strip. It has been printed through various publications. The Flood is a parasitic virulent life form, which appears in the Halo Universe. They are depicted as a highly virulent and deadly race, and can quickly incapacitate and infect different life forms, but the infected subject must have sufficient body mass to sustain infection, and even animals can be infected. The Flood is a parasitic virulent life form, known for their vast numbers and their ability to take over the bodies of life forms with enough mass to sustain them, such as people. Name: The Flood Run Time: 8:31 Year: 1988 The Flood is a 2000 annual story. The Flood is a track in Disk 4 of BIOHAZARD 6 ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK, and was composed by Capcom's in-house sound team, Suleputer. It is 02:13 long. The Flood are one of the two main antagonist groups in the Halo videogame series, the other being the Covenant. They are major antagonists in Halo: Combat Evolved, the secondary antagonists of Halo 2, and the main antagonists in Halo 3 alongside the Covenant Loyalists. The Flood are all controlled by an intelligent hive mind called the Gravemind, who often speaks through his Flood zombies. Gravemind and the Flood are seemingly destroyed once and for all at the end of Halo 3, but they could return again eventually. The Flood is a cancelled 3-part Tails strip that was due to appear in Sonic the Comic Online. It was due to begin in Issue 188 (under the old numbering system, Issue 227 as it is today) but was dropped when initial plans were to have four strips per issue fell through. By next morning, our camp was flooded. All our equipment not stored in the lighthouse tower was taken away by the flood. The Flood is a song by Escape the Fate {| class="collapsible collapsed" style="width: 100%; text-align: center;" In real life, the Flood is notable for his stand against the WA resolution (#128 "On Abortion"). Its personal region, the Higher Royal Empire of the Flood, was notable among others during that time until it became defunct for a few years until it was re-founded in September 2015 by a new nascent power, the New Holy Roman Empire of the Seventh Greater German Reich (known as the O.E.U.S.G.G.R. or the One Eternal Unified Seven Greatest German Reichs). "Be patient," her mentor, Dewclaw mewed to her, though she could see laughter twinkling in his eyes. Amberpaw bounded over to where her sister, Tawnypaw, was sitting with her mentor, Finchwing. "Sometimes I don't know how the young-ins do it," rasped Burrtail, the oldest cat in the Clan, "even when I was their age, I don't remember being like them." She bounded up, "Hi," she mewed, happy to see her friends again. "Hi Milkpaw," Amberpaw mewed. "H-hi," the tom stuttered. The Flood is the nineteenth chapter of The Castle of Llyr. It continues the climax before flowing into a clarifying denouement. This page contains spoilers. If you do not wish to be spoiled, do not read further. The Flood, also known as the Fourteenth Crewmember or The Flood from Another World is a 2015 American science fiction horror film written and directed by David Fincher. The film's title refers to its primary antagonist: a fungal extraterrestrial lifeform that assimilates other organisms and in turn imitates them. The Flood infiltrates an Antarctic research station, taking the appearance of the researchers that it absorbs, and paranoia develops within the group. The film has an ensemble cast consisting of Brie Larson, Idris Elba, Gary Oldman, Ed Harris, Bryan Cranston, Natalie Portman, Jared Leto, Chiwetel Elijiofor, Forest Whitaker, Clark Gregg, Alice Braga, Tom Hardy and Oscar Isaac. The Flood (Latin Inferi redivivus) also known as the Parasite by the Covenant, is a species of virulent, savage, parasitic organisms that thrive by consuming sentient lifeforms of sufficient biomass and cognitive capability. The Flood is a parasitic virulent life form, which appears in the Halo Universe. They are depicted as a highly virulent and deadly race, and can quickly incapacitate and infect different life forms, but the infected subject must have sufficient body mass to sustain infection, and even animals can be infected. The Flood (Latin Inferi redivivus) also known as the Parasite by the Covenant, is a species of virulent, savage, parasitic organisms that thrive by consuming sentient lifeforms of sufficient biomass and cognitive capability. Name: The Flood Run Time: 8:31 Year: 1988 In real life, the Flood is notable for his stand against the WA resolution (#128 "On Abortion"). Today, the Higher Royal Empire is emerging as a superpower since it became a protectorate of the Kaiserreich, thereby gaining reputation as an emerging superpower bloc. Its new founder participated in the fight against the CAIN and is collaborating with other world powers such as Nazi Europa, the Iron Order, Femdom State, and many others, thus, retaining the old glory of the once-majestic Floodian Empire that lies in its ancient spirit two years ago. Claiming sovereignty and succession to its old founder, the Seventh German Reich holds lone dominion over the region and fulfilling an obscure prophecy, its new founder, upon learning of its old shadow The Flood is a Doctor Who comic strip. It has been printed through various publications. The Flood is a flag founded by Cronk on the Cerulean Ocean originally the Midnight Ocean in the year 2005 on September 18. They are major antagonists in Halo: Combat Evolved, the secondary antagonists of Halo 2, and the main antagonists in Halo 3 alongside the Covenant Loyalists. They are an ancient alien race of parasites capable of assimilating any other organic life-form and turning them into flood zombies, and if left unchecked could consume all other sentient life in the universe. Thousands of years ago the Forerunner race were at war with the Flood and created the Halo space installations as a last resort to kill all other life in the galaxy so the Flood would starve to death. It is the goal of the Covenant to activate the Halos, which they mistakenly believe will send them on a "Great Journey" to godhood. The Flood are all controlled by an intelligent hive mind called the Gravemind, who often speaks through his Flood zombies. Gravemind and the Flood are seemingly destroyed once and for all at the end of Halo 3, but they could return again eventually. By next morning, our camp was flooded. All our equipment not stored in the lighthouse tower was taken away by the flood. The Flood is the nineteenth chapter of The Castle of Llyr. It has remained highly praised in subsequent decades, being considered one of the greatest films of all time. In 2019 the film was deemed "culturally, historically or aesthetically significant" by the Library of Congress and was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry. Amberpaw bounced up and down, even though she was nearing twelve moons old, she never got tired of going to a gathering. "Be patient," her mentor, Dewclaw mewed to her, though she could see laughter twinkling in his eyes. Amberpaw bounded over to where her sister, Tawnypaw, was sitting with her mentor, Finchwing. "Sometimes I don't know how the young-ins do it," rasped Burrtail, the oldest cat in the Clan, "even when I was their age, I don't remember being like them." Sunflash, the other elder, gave him a nudge, "Come on, you know you were worse," the she-cat joked, "Now, lets go get some fresh-kill before we have to tramp all the way to the gathering." The ginger she-cat gave Burrtail a gentle push, and started padding with him over to the fresh-kill pile. "I can't wait to see how Orangesky is getting along," Amberpaw heard Sunflash remark before carefully picking a frog off of the fresh-kill pile for her and Burrtail to share. Amberpaw snorted, "Sometimes the elders seem to forget that there are four Clans in the forest," she remarked to no cat in particular. "Remember, Amberpaw," Dewclaw told her, hearing her remark, "the elders of all of the Clans have known each other and have served their Clans for seasons upon seasons, I'll soon be moving to the elder's den, and I remember how Sunflash and Burrtail were when they were warriors, they were just like you, proud, and defensive of their Clans. But now they are old, and they see with new eyes, sometimes it seems." Amberpaw nodded, for the first time, she noticed that Dewclaw was growing old, he had gray flecks on his muzzle, and he couldn't keep up with patrols as much as he used to be able to. He'll join the elders soon, she mused to herself with sadness. The sadness was short lived, however, as Graystar bounded acrossed the clearing, Newtdapple, and Fennelfur, hard on his paws, as they assembled the gathering patrol. "Amberpaw, Dewclaw, Fennelfur, Lizardtail, Newtdapple, Darkfrost, Burrtail, Sunflash and Wrensong will come," the gray leader called, looking at the cats assembled in the clearing. Amberpaw padded over and touched noses with her brother, "Maybe you'll come next time," she mewed to Tawnypaw, but Tawnypaw just gave a nod, not looking Amberpaw in the eye. Amberpaw raced through the forest, with Dewclaw on one side and Wrensong on the other, "Why does Graystar have to run so fast?" Wrensong panted, and Amberpaw noticed that Wrensong's belly was swelling up. More kits means more warriors, Amberpaw thought, proud of her Clan. As the patrol approached the marshes that bordered the lake, Amberpaw couldn't bet but notice that there was more water then there should have been in the marshes. She looked around, and noticed that more cats than just her had notices, Newtspeckle and Darkfrost had worried expressions on their faces, and Amberpaw noticed that Sunflash was whispering something into Burrtail's ear, while casting nervous glances to the pools of water that stood around. The water was forgotten, by the time they reached the tree-bridge. Amberpaw couldn't wait to see some of her friends from other Clans, Lakepaw and Waterpaw, from RiverClan, Rabbitpaw, from ThunderClan, and Duskpaw and Mistpaw, from WindClan. She crossed the tree-bridge behind Burrtail, and it seemed like he would never get across it, but when he finally did Amberpaw got nervous. She entered the clearing, and saw Waterpaw, Lakepaw, Duskpaw, Rabbitpaw, Cloudfur, Mistpaw, and a cat that she didn't know huddled together. She bounded up, "Hi," she mewed, happy to see her friends again. "Hey Amberpaw," Rabbitpaw mewed, "this is Milkpaw, he was just made an apprentice." "Hi Milkpaw," Amberpaw mewed. "H-hi," the tom stuttered. "Waterpaw, is a warrior now," Lakepaw boasted, "he has the coolest name, Watersplash." Amberpaw congratulated him, but she felt a pang of jealousy, her and Tawnypaw were almost old enough to become apprentices, and Watersplash was younger than them. When was Graypaw going to make them warriors? The Flood is a parasitic alien creature that appears in the popular first-person shooter series, Halo. This organism is focused on killing and absorbing every sentient creature it can find, similar to that of a common zombie. The Flood is a song by Escape the Fate {| class="collapsible collapsed" style="width: 100%; text-align: center;" The Flood is a track in Disk 4 of BIOHAZARD 6 ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK, and was composed by Capcom's in-house sound team, Suleputer. It is 02:13 long. Some of the Precursors who escaped the genocide went into suspended animation and turned themselves into a powdery substance in the hopes of reviving later on. But this became corrupted and would induce madness and mutations in any life form that came into contact with it. Thus the Flood was born. Although initially viewed as an accident or failure on their part, the Precursors began to view the Flood as a form of revenge against the galaxy. They would make the Forerunners pay for their insolence, all life in the galaxy would be deprived of free will and never again rise against the Precursors, and life in the galaxy would be truly unified as one. The Flood would eventually come into conflict with ancient humanity and then, the Forerunners who had stolen the galaxy from the very beings they once worshiped as gods. After the conclusion of the Forerunner-Human war, the battered Forerunner Ecumene found itself backed into a corner by the ever-advancing Flood who threatened to consume all sentient life in the galaxy. This eventually led to the creation and firing of the Halo array, the fall of the Forerunner Ecumene, and 100,000 years later - the rise of the Forerunner worshiping Covenant Empire and a resurgent humanity.
