In the 8th issue of the 1st saga, when dormouse entered a portal to the metaworld Will is forced to get him back resulting into entering the royal garden of meridian. Dormouse safely pass through the roses together the unconscious Will protected by the Heart of Kandrakar. Daltar awake them and told them of the rose's evil nature. He later helped them find the safe way out to the garden. In the 11th issue the guardians gained access on how to communicate with Elyon through Daltar (by offering flowers with the guardians letter). In the final battle, after Elyon victoriously defeated his brother removed all the dark spells that his tyrant brother cast on the planet and Daltar finally was reunited with his family.
