He's betrothed to another winkie, Sarima, whom he later marries and has three kids with. He is described as a dark-skinned man with diamond-shaped tattoos in the novel, but isn't portrayed that way in the musical (probably because it would be hard to show on stage.) Norbert Leo Butz played Fiyero in the Orignal Broadway Cast of Wicked. Elphaba is Fiyero's older sister. She acts as a parent to him, as their parents disappeared.

He is described as a dark-skinned man with diamond-shaped tattoos in the novel, but isn't portrayed that way in the musical (probably because it would be hard to show on stage.) He becomes the lover of Elphaba, but is eventually transformed into a Scarecrow in the musical show, although in the novel it is more likly that he was killed by the wizard's secret police. Norbert Leo Butz played Fiyero in the Orignal Broadway Cast of Wicked.
