Today, we celebrate the first glorious anniversary of the Information Purification Directives. We have created for the first time in all history, a garden of pure ideology. Where each worker may bloom secure from the pests of contradictory and confusing truths. Our Unification of Thoughts is more powerful a weapon than any fleet or army on earth. We are one people, with one will, one resolve, one cause. Our enemies shall talk themselves to death and we will bury them with their own confusion. We shall prevail! "Bin Laden is Dead; Long Live “Bin Laden”" Fascism is the name of a reactionary nationalist movement economically characterized by elements such as central planning in co-operation with corporate groups like agriculture, business, military, science, religion, patronage etc. All are required to work together under the control of the State for the benefit of the nation's interest. Historically, fascism has ruled in Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Vichy France, and various portions of Eastern Europe. Fascists in Italy and Germany nationalized banks and blamed economic issues on racial scapegoats, anarchists, international financiers, and Marxism. Fascism was a political ideology in Sera. The Stranded viewed all Gears of the Coalition of Ordered Governments Army as fascists for abandoning them after the Hammer of Dawn counterattack. The territorial expansionism of Italian fascism and German Nazism have their origins in both great power competition and nationalism. Great powers possess more territory and the resources it may provide for war-making. Thus the Italian drive to conquer Ethiopia. The nationalist obsession with national territory and the national idenity of the population living on it is an elaboration of the impulse of great power competition. Colonizing territory with fellow nationals means that its resources will be avialable in a future conflict with other great powers. Thus the German attempt to colonize Ukraine. Fascism was a political ideology. Fascists fought on the Nationalist side during the Spanish Civil War. (PROSE: History 101) The British Union of Fascists, which governed the Republic of Great Britain on a parallel Earth, was a fascist organisation. (TV: Inferno) In the 1930s, Cecelia Pollard was a member of the League of English Fascists. (AUDIO: A Blind Eye) Conversely, her father Lord Richard Pollard considered them to be "a rum lot". (AUDIO: The Fall of the House of Pollard) Fascism is a political philosophy practiced by Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, Michael Moore, Fransisco Franco and Tokyo Governor Ishihara. Image:Fascism.jpg In one of Mussolini's idiot savant moments he said that "Facism should actually be called corporatism since it is a merging of the state with corporations" and where corporations do nothing but make the Baby Jesus smile and want to play in his crib all day. So it cannot be but anything friendly and good. And when corporations prosper, well all prosper since they voluntarily share profits with workers and strive on their own accord to make their workers happy. Labor unions in Germany sided with Nazi fascists, and they were good buddies throughout World War II. Why can't they do the same now in America? You can use the box below to create new pages for this mini-wiki. preload=Fascism/preload editintro=Fascism/editintro width=25 Fascism was a political philosophy originating on Earth. After Adolf Hitler took power in Germany in the 1930s and established the Nazi state it became his government style. (TOS: "The City on the Edge of Forever" ). Quark called Odo a fascist, when the two got into a fight after crashing on an uninhabited Class L planet in 2373. (DS9: "The Ascent") Ron D. Moore also described Odo's philosophy as "latent fascism". (AOL chat, 1997 ) Fascism is an extreme form of Moral Authoritarianism. It refers to the political movement which ruled Italy 1922-1943 under the leadership of Benito Mussolini. The word fascism has come to mean any system of government that exalts nation and often race above the individual, uses violence, propaganda, and censorship to forcibly suppress political opposition [Extreme Conformance], and engages in severe economic and social regimentation [strong Interdependence]. Fascism (pronounced: /ˈfæʃɪzəm/) is a radical, authoritarian or totalitarian nationalist or ultranationalist political ideology. Fascists paradoxically promote violence and war as actions that create positive transformation in society (See cognitive dissonance) and exalt militarism as providing national regeneration, spiritual renovation, vitality, education, instilling of a will to dominate in people's character, and creating national comradeship through military service. Fascists view conflict as an inevitable fact of life that is responsible for all human progress From [[w:|]][[Category: derivations|Fascism]] fascismo, from fascio (“‘bundle, fasces’”), from [[w:|]][[Category: derivations|Fascism]] fasces, plural of fascis Fascism: a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism. Fascism was a political ideology native to Earth. The Nazis of Germany practiced a form of Fascism. (TOS episode: "The City on the Edge of Forever") In 1954, Herbert Rossoff called Douglas Pabst a fascist after Pabst insinuated that Rossoff was a Communist. (DS9 episode: "Far Beyond the Stars") In 2156, Nash McEvoy compare Admiral Gregory Black to a fascist. (ENT novel: Beneath the Raptor's Wing) John Gill founded a more peaceful Fascist government on Ekos in order to stabilize the planet. (TOS episode: "Patterns of Force") At the same time, fascists may embrace a form of internationalism based on either racial or ideological solidarity across national boundaries. Usually fascism espouses open male supremacy, though sometimes it may also promote female solidarity and new opportunities for women of the privileged nation or race.Fascism is hostile to Marxism, liberalism, and conservatism, yet it borrows concepts and practices from all three. Fascism rejects the principles of class struggle and workers' internationalism as threats to national or racial unity, yet it often exploits real grievances against capitalists and landowners. Fascism is an authoritarian political ideology (generally tied to a mass movement) that considers the individual subordinate to the interests of the state, party or society as a whole. Fascists seek to forge a type of national unity. Various scholars attribute different characteristics to fascism, but the following elements are usually seen as its integral parts: patriotism, nationalism, statism, militarism, totalitarianism, anti-communism, corporatism, populism, collectivism, autocracy and opposition to political and economic liberalism. Fascism är ett styre av regering av en person med terror. (RPG: "Stargate SG-1: Roleplaying Game") kategori:Regeringar och allianser Fascism promotes political violence, and war, as forms of direct action that create national regeneration, spirit and vitality. Fascists commonly utilize paramilitary organizations for violence against opponents or to overthrow a political system. Fascism opposes multiple ideologies: conservatism, liberalism, and two major forms of socialism; communism and social democracy. Fascism claims to represent a synthesis of cohesive ideas previously divided between traditional political ideologies. To achieve its goals, the fascist state purges forces, ideas, people, and systems deemed to be the cause of decadence, and degeneration. Fascism is a nearly totalitarian form of government. The major points of fascism are these: * Centralization of Authority under a Dictator * Stringent socioeconomic controls * Suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship * A policy of belligerent nationalism and racism Fascism is a radical and authoritarian nationalist political ideology. Fascism is also a corporatist economic ideology. Historians and political scientists disagree on a precise definition, however; some would omit one or more of the preceding themes, while others would add many more.[7] Fascists advocate the creation of a single-party state. Fascists believe that nations and races are in perpetual conflict whereby only the strong can survive by being healthy, vital, and by asserting themselves in combat against the weak. Fascist governments forbid and suppress criticism and opposition to the government and the fascist movement. Fascism opposes class conflict and blames capitalist liberal democracies for creating class conflict and in turn blames communists for exploiting class conflict. Fascism was a political philosophy, based on militant authoritarianism. The Bith artist Janyor referred to the Galactic Empire as fascist and created the propaganda piece Imperius Unitada ober Totallex as an example of fascist imagery. Fascism is also likely to be Racist and Nationalistic because Fascism tries to favour one ethnic group/some ethnic groups over others. In practice, individual rights and the rights of political, social and ethic minority groups are all sacrificed in service to and for the good of the Nation State. The Frieden secessionist movement in the Jovian Moons based itself on the fascist belief system and fought against the United Nations during the Interplanetary War of 2160 - 2164. In the 26th century, the UN and its military arm faced accusations of fascism and totalitarianism from rebel groups and civilians dissatisfied with its authoritarian policy-making. Fascism is far-right nationalist political movement. Considerable debate exists about the exact definition of fascism both within Marxism and in mainstream political science. Some Marxists consider it a specific some a general form of capitalist reaction.

The primary figurehead of Fascism in the 20th century was Benito Mussolini of Italy. He eventually aligned his country of Adolf Hitler and Germany, which was ruled by the Nazi Party, a political movement that took many cues from Fascism. This alliance became the core of the Axis, a political and military alliance, composed of countries that were governed on the Fascist model. Fascism is a political philosophy practiced by Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, Michael Moore, Fransisco Franco and Tokyo Governor Ishihara. Stephen Colbert gives a tip of the hat to fascism since it means he and The Nation can buy cheap eletronic goods at Best Buy and Wal-Mart. Lucianne Goldberg's kid, Jonah, has discovered that fascism is defined as being anything that Hitler did or whatever might be considered liberal, which is really progressive. And he's right, you know. Fascists view conflict as an inevitable fact of life that is responsible for all human progress Ultimately, it is easier to define fascism by what it is against than by what it is for. Fascism is anti-anarchist, anti-communist, anti-conservative, anti-democratic, anti-individualist, anti-liberal, anti-parliamentary, anti-bourgeois, and anti-proletarian. It entails a distinctive type of anti-capitalism and is typically, with few exceptions, anti-clerical. Fascism rejects the concepts of egalitarianism, materialism, and rationalism in favour of action, discipline, hierarchy, spirit, and will. Indeed, fascism is perhaps best described as "anti-ism"; that is, the philosophy of being against everyone and everything all of the time. The only place where fascism makes any sense is bootcamp. But if fascists had their way they would turn the entire world into one big never-ending boot camp (assholes and elbows). Fascists advocate the creation of a totalitarian single-party state that seeks the mass mobilization of a nation through indoctrination, physical education, and family policy including eugenics. Fascists seek to purge forces, ideas, and systems deemed to be the cause of decadence and degeneration and produce their nation's rebirth based on commitment to the national community based on organic unity where individuals are bound together by suprapersonal connections of ancestry, culture, and blood. Fascists believe that a nation requires strong leadership, singular collective identity, and the will and ability to commit violence and wage war in order to keep the nation strong. Fascist governments forbid and suppress opposition to the state. Fascism was founded by Italian national syndicalists during World War I who combined left-wing and right-wing political views, but it gravitated to the right in the early 1920s. "But it also conveniently confirms the Islamophobic propaganda of the likes of Daniel Pipes who try to scare Americans into fighting Israel’s wars with dire warnings that the Muslims are coming." A key pillar of fascism was the so-called "Leader Principle" which stated that a government should have a single leader as its head, with all others obeying this leader without question. In the 20th century fascist leaders were generally deemed evil and psychotic men and it was for this reason that fascism failed on Earth as a viable form of government. However, even in cases where a fascist leader governed for the good of the people, it was a fact that when any man held so much power then it was in turn irresistible that an urge to "play God" would corrupt the government. Originally anti-clerical, Italian fascism in practice found political allies in the Roman Catholic Church against the political left, especially the officially aetheist Italian Communist Party. Some Marxists consider it a specific some a general form of capitalist reaction. While fascism opposes domestic class conflict, fascism believes that bourgeois-proletarian conflict primarily exists in national conflict between proletarian nations versus bourgeois nations; fascism declares its opposition to bourgeois nations, and declares its support for the victory of proletarian nations. Fascists advocate a state directed, regulated economy that is dedicated to the nation; the use and primacy of regulated private property, and private enterprise contingent upon service to the nation, the use of state enterprise where private enterprise is failing, or is inefficient, and autarky. It supports criminalization of strikes by employees, and lockouts by employers because it deems these acts as prejudicial to the national community.
