The Wraith is the face of the sixth Joker's Card. The Wraith (ザ・レイス Za Reisu?) is a character and a boss from Ring of Destruction: Slam Masters II, the second game in the Slam Masters series of wrestling fighting games. However, one Hell Priest by the name Deag Grav and his cabal used the Wraith's essence against them with the help of a traitorous Night Sentinel (it is highly assumed to be the Doom Slayer himself) by forming the Well, which enables the Hell Legion to gain an upper hand and finally victory over the realm. The Wraith is the swift, beautiful, and distinctive red and gold ship in the shape of a bird manned by Ren, Ioz, Tula, and Niddler. Its bowsprit even resembles the head and beak of a bird, the sail resembles a pair of wings (and can be detached to become a glider), and the decorative wooden frill on the aft end of the boat looks like a tail. This ship doesn't actually belong to the crew; instead, it belongs to a vicious pirate named Joat. Knowing that it was one of the fastest, if not the fastest, vessel in existence, Ioz sneakily posted advertising flyers around the town where it and he currently were, claiming that he had a ship for rent. Ren and Niddler found one of the fliers and met to do business with Ioz, not finding out until after they set sail that the ship wasn't theirs. As a result of Ioz's thievery, Joat soon became the laughingstock of the twenty seas, and he tried to reclaim the Wraith, but to no avail. According to the Series Bible, "This vessel is a mix of 14th century technology and that of the ecologically based Merian maritime civilization....The Wraith is a character in its own right. Cut from mystical trees on a remote island, the lumber used in its creation maintains its life force. At times it may seem to be haunted, at other times it may seem to have a mind of its own. And until Ren and the crew decipher the mysterious carvings in the wraith’s decking, they are often at the mercy of the boat’s capricious spirit." The Wraith was a weasel who followed the horde of Swartt Sixclaw, and was discovered by Nightshade. He was skinny and undersized, and when the Wraith spoke he extended his 'R's. Wraith had no teeth, and carried a tiny poisoned stone knife. He had the ability to camouflage himself against any background, because of his mottled fur. However, he was not a very strong or powerful creature and relied on stealth. The Wraith was hired by Swartt to assassinate Sunflash the Mace in exchange for half of the pillagings. To demonstrate his deadly killing methods, Wraith slew Glimpy in front of Swartt. Wraith actually climbed up the mountain of Salamandastron to get to Sunflash. However, when he leapt from underneath the window ledge to attack the unsuspecting occupants, two otter rockcreams (rocks covered with meadow cream) thrown by Porty at Folrig Streampaw and Ruddle Banksnout missed and hit the Wraith instead, sending him flying into space, causing him to accidentally tumble off of the side of Salamandastron to his death; during this debacle he also accidentally stabbed himself in the jaw with his own knife. The Wraith is a elemental being originally from the Argent D'Nur dimension until it was absorbed by Hell. They were deified and feared by the original people of the Argent D'Nur and protected by the finest warrior order of the dimension, the Night Sentinels as a means to harness their tremendous power as a energy source and defensive measure against then. After their world was absorbed into Hell, their souls was trapped in the Hell energy sphere until the Doom Slayer uses the Crucible to free them.
