The Thalassa was a cruiser vessel part of the Aurelian Navy. The name for the sea, the primordial sea goddess in ancient Greek mythology, Thalassa is an Ocean Planet in Arthur C. Clarke's novel Songs of Distant Earth and a moon of Neptune discovered by NASA's Voyager 2 mission in 1989. Thalassa is one of the worlds of Effulgence not yet connected by Milliways. It is set in a England-like world based off of the fairy tale The Little Mermaid. Thalassa was one of three survivors of a species that died half a million years ago. She was the wife of Sargon. The two of them, along with their seemingly former enemy Henoch, housed their consciousnesses inside receptacles, which the USS Enterprise discovered in 2268. She would borrow the body of Ann Mulhall, an Enterprise crew member, in order to build androids that could house her mind. After she, Sargon and Henoch had transferred to their borrowed bodies, she was tempted by Henoch to keep the body of Ann Mulhall. She offered to save Captain James T. Kirk, whose body, which housed Sargon, was poisoned by Henoch, if she could keep her Human form. After coming to her senses, she helped Sargon kill Henoch, and she and Sargon returned to their pure concsiousness state and embarked from the Enterprise to oblivion. (TOS: "Return to Tomorrow" ) Thalassa was played by Diana Muldaur. Thalassa is also the ancient Greek word for "sea". Habitat: Inter-dimensional crack Thalassa era una tecnosacerdote del Adeptus Mechanicus que participó en la exploración del reaparecido mundo forja Chaeroneia. In Greek mythology, Thalassa (/θəˈlæsə/; Greek: Θάλασσα, "sea") was the primeval goddess of the sea. Coupling with her male counterpart Pontus, she spawned the tribes of fish. In the fables of Aesop, Thalassa appears as a woman formed of sea water rising up from her native element. Poseidon and Amphitrite were the anthropomorphic gods equivalent to Pontos and Thalassa. In late classical times, the two were also confounded with Oceanus and Tethys. Thalassa was depicted in Roman-era mosaics as a woman half submerged in the sea, with crab-claw horns, clothed in bands of seaweed, and holding a ship's oar. Thalassa (Greek: Θαλασσα) was the primeval spirit of the sea. Thalassa wasn't actually in a human-like form, her body was literally the seas. A Democracia da Thalassa (no original, Thalassa, Democracy of) é uma micronação modelista [[]], existente até hoje. Atualmente, está ?. When she came out, she became the commandant at Shark Island Prison. She issued a warrant for Xena's arrest and reeled her into Shark Island Prison. This led Gabrielle to go under the guise of a healer and rescue Xena from prison. She treated Thalassa's wounds and the two seemed to have clicked, talking about finding her lost soul. This relationship with Gabrielle helped catalyse Thalassa forgiving Xena (along with Xena saving her life), and Xena being released from prison. She was played by Katrina Browne. thumb|Thalassa im Körper von Ann Mulhall Thalassa ist die Frau von Sargon. Genau wie er ist sie körperlos. 2268 übernimmt sie den Körper von Ann Mulhall.
