Armored Personnel Carrier Armored Personnel Carrier Armored personnel carrier
rdfs:comment
The Armored Personnel Carrier, often shortened to APC, was a lightly armored fighting vehicle designed to transport a sum of infantry (depending on the size of the APC) to the battlefield. The Armadillo was a notable variation of the APC. The UIR had a number of APC's during the Battle of Aspho Fields. Armadillos can also be seen in the RAAM's Shadow campaign - once at the start of the first chapter, and next when Zeta-Six is destroying the Locust Seeders in Ilima City. Armored Personnel Carriers (APC) were military vehicles used first by the New United States and then the United States of Europe. They were originally up-time coal mining trucks: construction vehicles of greater than ordinary size and capacity with thick walled dump beds and thick heavy duty man-high tires. After being transferred back in time, the people of Grantville modified their trucks with armor-plated shutters over the windows and rifle slits in the beds. APCs (Short for Armored Personnel Carriers (Known as Rigs in the American version of Advance Wars: Days of Ruin and Mob.Workshop in the European version) are a kind of Land Unit. Although they are generally non combatant, they can transport Infantry and Mech units. In the games before Advance Wars, APCs carry machine guns, whereas in the Advance Wars games, they refuel any units in an adjacent space. In Days of Ruin, they can build Temporary Airports or Temporary Seaports which can give benefits to Air and Sea units that need backup recovery. The armored personnel carrier (APC) is an armored terran vehicle used for transporting infantry. It is a fully enclosed, wheeled vehicle that can hold up to a dozen passengers plus a driver. During the Guild Wars the Confederate Armed Forces equipped their APCs with reactive armor. The Kel-Morian Combine pieced them together from various materials, sometimes the same reactive armor, other times they welded metal plates to their flanks, angling them to deflect bullets. These APCs were frequently armed with double-barreled gauss cannons. Armored personnel carriers are heavily armored transport and combat vehicles. Certain APCs are amphibious. The Armored Personnel Carrier, or APC, is a non-drivable vehicle in Far Cry 3. It appears only in the story mission entitled Ambush. It is driven by the Privateers after the ambush by Jason and the Rakyat warriors. The vehicle is very similar to the French VAB 4x4 armoured vehicle. They have made substantial appearances in the Ace Combat series. The Armored Personnel Carrier or simply APC, is an armored troop transport appears in Counter-Strike: Condition Zero Deleted Scenes, and in Counter-Strike: Source and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive as props. One (Cadillac Gage Commando, in that particular case) was used by the DEA in their operation to take down the cult leader Seth Fargough. That APC had two guns on the turret and could hold several people and gear. (SG1: "Seth") Another APC is seen used by the Tagreans when stopping SG1 (Memento)(Tagrean Tank) Armored personnel carriers were a type of ground assault vehicles used by the Galactic Empire. An Armored Personnel carrier is a personnel transport vehicle seen in the Three Generation Arc of Mobile Suit Gundam AGE anime series. Armored personnel carriers were a type of ground assault vehicles used by the Galactic Empire. They had a heavy repeating blaster mounted atop, and made distinctive grinding and humming noises while in movement. Such vehicles were notably deployed during the occupation of Jedha. APCs were also used during the Great War and the Second Great War APCs are usually armed with only a machine gun although variants carry recoilless rifles, anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs), or mortars. They are not usually designed to take part in a direct-fire battle, but to carry troops to the battlefield safe from shrapnel and ambush. They may have wheels or tracks. The Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) is a Combine armored transport used by Overwatch units. It is first seen in the Half-Life 2 chapter Point Insertion and first seen in combat in the chapter Route Kanal firing at an Emplacement Gun that Gordon used to fend off the CPs. They cannot be driven nor used by the player. The immense size and mobility of the APCs were without equal in the 17th century, and proved quite decisive at nearly every engagement the NUS was involved in from 1631-1632. Six APCs were used during the invasion of Saxony and Poland. While initially successful, bad weather slowed the advance of the vehicles, which left them out of action. This allowed the Poles to capture one of the APCs. One (Cadillac Gage Commando, in that particular case) was used by the DEA in their operation to take down the cult leader Seth Fargough. That APC had two guns on the turret and could hold several people and gear. (SG1: "Seth") Another APC is seen used by the Tagreans when stopping SG1 (Memento)(Tagrean Tank) The M2 Bradley Armored Personnel Carrier, callsign Bulldog /Razorback is an APC used by the Marines during the first containment operation on Manhattan Island, and used only by Blackwatch during the Second Outbreak of the Mercer Virus in NYC. They have made substantial appearances in the Ace Combat series. The armored personnel carrier is a drivable vehicle in Fallout Tactics. Armored personnel carriers are heavily armored transport and combat vehicles. Certain APCs are amphibious. An armored personnel carrier (APC), also referred to as armored vehicle, is an armored fighting vehicle designed to transport infantry and other personnel to the battlefield. They are usually equipped with a machine gun, although variants equipped with recoilless rifles, mortars, or anti-tank guided missiles do exist. However, they aren't designed for direct combat. W skrócie APC (wymawiaj: ej-pi-si). The Armored Personnel Carrier or simply APC, is an armored troop transport appears in Counter-Strike: Condition Zero Deleted Scenes, and in Counter-Strike: Source and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive as props.
