The orc chief, also known as orc chieftain (and misspelled as "Orc Chieftan" in the Heroes of Might and Magic Compendium), is the upgraded version of the orc unit of the Barbarian faction in Heroes of Might and Magic II, recruited by upgrading the stick hut. It has superior damage, hit points, speed, and number of shots, making it a much more potent unit in the field than its previous version. Despite this, they still move too slowly to earn a place in the army once ogre lords and war trolls enter the field.
