Selar hoped to give him life again by giving his katra to his Federation counterpart, but Ambassador Spock convinced her to reclaim the katra and take it to Vulcan. Through a mind meld with Selar Beverly Crusher saw the life Wesley led in the mirror universe and was deeply moved.
