Zuhixtli looked down upon the prisoners, brought back by the latest Garland War. He watched them file, defeated, up the steps of the Pyramid of the Quetzalcoatl, stripped of their feathers and armour. The priests continued the ceremony with great solemnity, opening their chests and removing the pulsing hearts with serene elegance. The screams of the dying fell gently over the watching populace, and blood soaked down the temple's plastered steps. Auehmoc came up behind him. "Brother, the ceremony is almost over. But dark portents have been seen in the city." "What has been seen, brother Auehmoc?" Quetzalcoatl is a deity worshiped by the Mexican, Aztec, Toltec, and Mayan cultures. It is said to be a supreme deity sent by the supreme god to rule over Earth. Quetzalcoatl is said to have taken many forms but is known to manifest in the form of a giant feathered serpent. Quetzalcoatl, along with brother Pretzelcoatl, was a primary deity in the ancient Latin American civilisation. In frustration at his brother's staggering success in attracting worshipers of bakery products, Quetzalcoatl turned away from iced-bun promotion to concentrate on ritual sacrifice. Quetzalcoatl is living proof of the events of the Book of Mormon In the book of Mormon, Jesus comes and establishes the gospel among ancient peoples of America. The legend of Quetzalcoatl says that a godly bearded white man came, and said he'd come again. His every description fits that of the Messiah. Quetzalcoatl is an Feathered Drake, NPC that can be found at the top of Drakewind Peak, located in Sunstone Valley. To reach the top of Drakewind Peak, it is required to complete the Noggle's Retreat Quest line hosted by Noggle Cogloose. The name "Quetzalcoatl" is derived from a Mesoamerican Deity, and translates to "Feathered Serpant" from the Nahuatl language. The first objective in this scenario is to defeat the Tlaxcalans' empire. Next the player either have to capture 20 Spanish Horses blocked by walls and then taking them to a pen near their camp or defeating the Spanish in order to slow their advance. The player allies, Tabasco (orange), will be defeated, depicting the Battle of Centla. (SG1: "Crystal Skull") Quetzalcoatl is a god in Aztec mythology. His name comes from the Nahuatl language and means "feathered-serpent". In the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime, Greiger, Annie and Max worship him and believe he watches over the Nazca region. Quetzalcoatl is a feathered serpent. The origin of the name Quetzacoatl is disputed, but in Nahuatl, the ancient language of the Aztecs, Coatl meant God or more accurately "Jesus" and Quetza meant "Cheese covered" or "Enchirito", so the full translation would be "Cheese covered Jesus." Although some prominent Mexican-American scholars such as Mario Lopez claim the Quetzal distinction is actually derived from the corruption of the name of noted shopping mall pretzel eatery Wetzel's and the inability of Hispanic people to pronounce the "Weh" sound despite their affinity for hanging around shopping mall food courts. Still, some prominent North American and European, Hispanic Culture and American History scholars insist that the name is derived from the sound a Mayan husband would make when he discovered his wife was going shoppi Quetzalcoatl are wyvern-like dragons in Ninja Gaiden II, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus. Quetzalcoatl (ケツァルコアトル Ketsu~arukoatoru)is a character of the Luck & Logic anime. He is the foreigner partner of Yukari Nanahoshi. Quetzalcoatl is the mythological Mesoamerican god of the sun, sky, and agriculture, who resembles a humanoid with reptilian features, massive wings, and Mayan attire. A silver statue of him was discovered by Jackie Chan, El Toro Fuerte, and their young wards and inadvertently brought to life by Mickey while he possessed the power of the Rat Talisman. It learns HP-J, VIT-J and Mag-J naturally, as well as elemental attack and defense junctions. Its unique command is Card Mod, which lets the player turn enemies into Triple Triad cards, and its refine abilities let the player make Thunder and Wind magic from items, mid level magic from low level spells, and various items from Triple Triad cards. Its Triple Triad card is won from Mayor Dobe in Fishermans Horizon. Quetzalcoatl is the lawful god of the archeologist pantheon. Quetzalcoatl is a legendary voodoo mask for the Witch Doctor in Diablo III. It requires character level 29 to drop. This mask is mostly known for its ability to haste Haunt and Locust Swarm by half. The total damage does not change, but the tick periods and total duration are reduced by half. With the Creeping Death passive skill, the damage output of said abilities is essentially doubled, and so is the damage done by consumption of those skills by the Raiment of the Jade Harvester set. Prior to patch 2.1, it was the only mask that could roll increased Attack Speed. It was thought that Quetzalcotal was the source of the gifts bestowed on to his followers, but it was later discovered that it was actually a special kind of water that flowed in Quetzalcotals habitat and was filled with a unique mineral. The water gave whoever drank it advanced healing, knowledge, and strength, but when the effects of the water ware off the drinker can experience withdrawl symptoms. Quetzalcotal lives in large cave systems and has severe sensitivity to direct sunlight. Quetzalcoatl, also known as "White Tezcatlipoca" or the "Feathered Serptent" is the ancient Aztec Sun God of Creation and the central god of Aztec worship. In ancient times, he protected the world from his dark brother Tezcatlipoca, whom he has been in a power struggle with since the dawn of their existence. Tezcatlipoca's desire for destruction is that he is destined to destroy humanity if he judges them to be wicked while Quetzalcoatl is destined to rebuild the world anew after Tezcatlipoca's destroyed it, afterwards he will return to heavens from which he came, hence Quetzalcoatl's desire to stop his brother. Quetzalcoatl corresponds to the common mythological motif of a horned serpent found in the entirety of the Americas, In 2270, Captain Kirk and the USS Enterprise encountered Kukulkan, an alien being who had visited Earth in the ancient past. Kirk surmised that the legend of Kukulkan was the source of the Toltec worship of Quetzalcoatl. (TAS: "How Sharper Than a Serpent's Tooth") As of 2373, Jean-Luc Picard had a stone carving depicting Quetzalcoatl in his ready room aboard the USS Enterprise-E. (Star Trek: First Contact) Quetzalcoatl is the god of the Aztecs and hippies. Like Mohammed and Charles Darwin, he is a false god. We know Quetzalcoatl is a false god because he is half bird and half snake. Seriously, how stupid is that? The God of America, who will make everyone disappear at the end of the world and leave their clothes behind, is so much more rational. It is unclear how anyone could think otherwise. This article is a stub. You can get a Tip of the Hat* from Stephen by adding only truthiness to it.*Tip of the Hat not guaranteed. He and his 'brothers' traveled to worlds preaching peace and teaching them how to evolve. However they were often disappointed on how their messages were misunderstood and distorted in the process of time. Quetzecoatl visited Earth several thousand years ago and interacted with a Native American tribe in what would later become Mexico. This tribe, the Aztecs, came to worship Quetzalcoatl as a god following his departure. While Quetzalcoatl had originally preached a message of peace to the tribe, the Aztecs used Quetzalcoatl to justify sacrificing a large number of humans over the years. Quetzalcoatl was one of the Aztec gods. Quetzalcoatl was referred to as a feathered serpent and was believed by some to be the chief god of the Aztecs. In the early 16th century, when Hernán Cortés arrived to conquer the Aztecs, the Aztecs believed that he was Quetzalcoatl. This was because the Sword of Cortés had the mark of Quetzalcoatl on it. Quetzalcoatl may have been one of the gods that cursed the Aztec gold paid to Cortés. Quetzalcoatl is an Aztec sky and creator god. The name is a combination of quetzal, a brightly colored Mesoamerican bird, and coatl, meaning serpent. The name was also taken on by various ancient leaders. Due to their cyclical view of time and the tendency of leaders to revise histories to support their rule, many events and attributes attributed to Quetzalcoatl are exceedingly difficult to separate from the political leaders that took this name on themselves. Quetzalcoatl is often referred to as The Feathered Serpent, connected to the planet Venus and was also the patron god of the Aztec priesthood, of learning and knowledge. Today Quetzalcoatl is arguably the best known Aztec deity, and is often thought to have been the principal Aztec god. However, Quetzalcoatl is one of several importa Quetzalcoatl is the Legendary Titan of Summons. His power was sealed away in the Temple of Sun in Mexico. His first purpose was to become the Blue Star as a signal to summon the members of the Casterwill family scattered in the world. His second purpose was to be summoned from the Blue Star to battle the Betrayer. Quetzalcoatl took the size of small mountain when they are fully matured and elephant size when they are born. They are call Feather Serpent because they have feather in their body, furthermore, some Quetzalcoatl possess wing and able to fly. Their body shape is similar as mixed of dragon, snake and bird. Additionally, their body are covered with strong armor and scale which are hardly able to pierce through by steel or iron. Quetzalcoatl is one of the "giant aliens" that Dr. Nicholas Ballard encountered when he found a Crystal skull at a dig in Belize. He was encountered by SG-1 in 2000 during a mission to P7X-377 in which Dr. Daniel Jackson discovered a second Crystal skull identical to the one found in Belize. After returning to P7X-377, replacing the skull, and Teal'c leaving (because of his symbiote), SG-1 and Nick Ballard were dimensionally shifted so that they might meet the Omeyocan, being greeted by none other than Quetzalcoatl. Quetzalcoatl offered Nick the chance to stay with them as it was not the first time Nick had been there and he accepted. In the Postclassic period (900 – 1519 CE) the worship of the feathered serpent deity was centered in the central Mexican religious center of Cholula. It is in this period that the deity is known to have been named "Quetzalcoatl" by his Nahua followers. In the Maya area he was known as Kukulcan or Ququmatz, names that also translate as "feathered serpent" in different Mayan languages. In the era followin Quetzacoatl is one of the Dragon Kings, known as the Wise Sky Dragon as well as the former God of Wind and Wisdom of the Aztec Mythology. He is one of the few active dragons in the world though prefers not to deal with the affairs of the other mythologies unless interested. Quetzacoatl is also an ally of Merlin Ambrosius, whom he also holds a friendly-rivalry with. Quetzalcoatl was an Aztec God. The Voodoo Lady described him as a: Quetzalcoatl (Nahuatl: plumed serpent) was a major god of both the Aztec and Olmec religions. The deity's serpentine incarnation was supposedly summoned by the Babylonian disciple, Azerim, to guard his part of the Infernal Machine. The guardian resembled a colossal snake, dozens of feet in length and with a body as thick as a very large tree trunk, having a ring of feathers around its neck. The monster was able to fire living, regular-sized snakes from its mouth. Quetzalcoatl is the feathered snake god of the Aztec and Toltec civilizations. Traditionally the god of the morning and evening star, he is also identified as the god of wind and air, and the creator of writing and the calendar, as well as being the patron of priests and a symbol of death and rebirth. Sacrifice to Quetzalcoatl involved human sacrifice. Legend said that Quetzalcoatl would return in a new age, and when Montezuma, the final ruler of the Aztecs, saw the Spanish land in Mexico, he thought that the serpent god had returned. Quetzalcoatl appears in Kong: The Animated Series. He was worshipped by the Aztecs as a sky god and as the creator of mankind. Quetzalcoatl is a playable character from the video game Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich. Quetzalcōātl (often translated as the Plumed Serpent) is an Aztec deity with multiple aspects, governing the winds, air, and the breath of life in his aspect as the god Ehēcatl, but also incarnate in the historical Toltec hero Topiltzin Cē Ācatl, who is Mesoamerica's main culture hero and known for his religious reforms and achievements as ruler of Tollan. Topiltzin was eventually forced into exile due to an alcohol-related scandal and is thought to have resettled in Central America, perhaps intending to return eventually and reclaim his kingdom. In the Postclassic period (900 – 1519 CE) the worship of the feathered serpent deity was based in the primary Mexican religious center of Cholula. It is in this period that the deity is known to have been named "Feathered Serpent" by his Nahua followers. Quetzacoatl is one of the Dragon Kings, known as the Wise Sky Dragon as well as the former God of Wind and Wisdom of the Aztec Mythology. He is one of the few active dragons in the world though prefers not to deal with the affairs of the other mythologies unless interested. Quetzacoatl is also an ally of Merlin Ambrosius, whom he also holds a friendly-rivalry with. Quetzalcoatl is a feathered, serpentine Dark Elder and the master of both Billy the Kid and Black Hawk. He was worshipped by the Aztecs as a sky god and as the creator of mankind. Favourite rites included virgins being bludgeoned to death with baguettes, asphyxiation of peasants with large farmhouse loafs, baking babies into banana bread, and hurling custard pies at people with no sense of humour until battered to death. The latter method was thought to have inspired Chico Marx, the inspiration to his brother Zeppo, inventor of comedy. He later became known as Frank Zeppo, infamous for his air guitar playing with a knife in a hot oven, thus producing a wide variety of 3 weird sounds. The worship of a feathered serpent deity is first documented in Teotihuacan in the Late Preclassic through the Early Classic period (400 BCE–600 CE) of Mesoamerican chronology—"Teotihuacan arose as a new religious center in the Mexican Highland, around the time of Christ..."—whereafter it appears to have spread throughout Mesoamerica by the Late Classic (600–900 CE). In the Postclassic period (900 – 1519 CE) the worship of the feathered serpent deity was based in the primary Mexican religious center of Cholula. It is in this period that the deity is known to have been named "Feathered Serpent" by his Nahua followers. In the Maya area he was approximately equivalent to Kukulcan and Gukumatz, names that also roughly translate as "feathered serpent" in different Mayan languages. In the era following the 16th-century Spanish Conquest a number of sources were written that describe the god "Feathered Serpent" and relates him to a ruler of the mythico-historic city of Tollan called by the names "Ce Acatl", "Topiltzin", "Nacxitl" or "Feathered Serpent". It is a matter of much debate among historians to which degree, or whether at all, these narratives about this legendary Toltec ruler Topiltzin Ce Acatl Feathered Serpent describe actual historical events. Furthermore early Spanish sources written by clerics tend to identify the god-ruler "Feathered Serpent" of these narratives with either Hernán Cortés or St. Thomas—an identification which is also a source of diversity of opinions about the nature of "Feathered Serpent". Among the Aztecs, whose beliefs are the best-documented in the historical sources, Feathered Serpent was related to gods of the wind, of Venus, of the dawn, of merchants and of arts, crafts and knowledge. He was also the patron god of the Aztec priesthood, of learning and knowledge. Feathered Serpent was one of several important gods in the Aztec pantheon along with the gods Tlaloc, Smoke-and-mirrors and Huitzilopochtli. Quetzalcoatl was an Aztec God. The Voodoo Lady described him as a: He and his 'brothers' traveled to worlds preaching peace and teaching them how to evolve. After departing Earth, Quetzalcoatl eventually came to the Klingon world of Hrakkour IV sometime before the 23rd century where he presented himself as a Klingon named K'etz'koatl. Preaching a message of peace, Quetzalcoatl convinced the Klingon colonists to adopt a more peaceful outlook on life and then retreated to the planet Zamphor. In response, angered with how his subjects' turned themselves away from the Klingon traditions and code of honor, Admiral Vlict Kenka committed genocide, killing all the colonists on Hrakkour. Feeling that his actions would be too brutal for even the Klingon code, Kenka used Quetzalcoatl as a scapegoat for the genocide on Hrakkour. In around 2270 (stardate 5097.03), the USS Enterprise followed the Klingon military activities and offered to help them apprehend the 'criminal'. They encountered Quetzalcoatl on Zamphor. Quetzalcoatl initially refused to believe Captain James T. Kirk when he was told of the Aztec violent culture after his departure, and subjected Kirk and his landing party to several trials. Quetzalcoatl was impressed to see that Kirk and the landing party solved these trials without resorting to violence, and reconsidered what Kirk had told him at their initial meeting. Being disappointed of his own work and his failures, Quetzalcoatl asked Doctor Leonard McCoy to remove his essential gland. Quetzalcoatl and the party were transported on the Enterprise and McCoy surgically removed the gland, turning him into a mortal in the process. Since it was a Klingon internal matter, the Organians compelled the Federation to bring Quetzalcoatl to Hrakkour for trial, and Admiral Kenka attempted to have Quetzalcoatl executed. As he claimed, Quetzalcoatl had no honor to deserve trial by the Klingon High Court. Kirk talked in his defense claiming his identity as a honorable warrior. Kenka then sent Kirk's team in the ancient pits of Bialbi below the planet's surface. While Kirk's team were making their way out, an advanced being known as Bialbi intervened and brought Kenka alone in front of Kirk to judge him for the evil inflicted on the world and Quetzalcoatl. Bialbi would have executed Kenka, but Captain Kirk intervened and Bialbi relented - ordering Kenka to leave Hrakkour and never return on pain of death. Following this, the Enterprise returned Quetzalcoatl to his home. (TOS video game: Star Trek: 25th Anniversary) In the less than perfect situation of the game, it is possible for the player to abandon his defense in the trial, or simply fail to respond appropriately to the accusations. In that case, Quetzecoatl accepts the condemnation and submits to the decision to be executed. In the CD-ROM version of the game, Quetzecoatl is voiced by Jeffrey Winkless. Quetzalcoatl is a playable character from the video game Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich. Quetzalcoatl is a deity worshiped by the Mexican, Aztec, Toltec, and Mayan cultures. It is said to be a supreme deity sent by the supreme god to rule over Earth. Quetzalcoatl is said to have taken many forms but is known to manifest in the form of a giant feathered serpent. Quetzalcoatl is a Mesoamerican deity whose name comes from the Nahuatl language and means "feathered serpent". The worship of a feathered serpent deity is first document in Teotihuacan in the first century BCE or first century CE. That period lies within the Late Preclassic to Early Classic period of Mesoamerican chronology, and veneration of the figure appears to have spread throughout Mesoamerica by the Late Classic. In the Postclassic period, the worship of the feathered serpent deity was based in the primary Mexican religious center of Cholula. It is in this period that the deity is known to have been named "Quetzalcoatl" by his Nahua followers. In the Maya area he was approximately equivalent to Kukulcan and Gukumatz, names that also roughly translate as "feathered serpent" in different Mayan languages. In the era following the 16th-century Spanish Conquest, a number of sources were written that conflate Quetzalcoatl with Ce Acatl Topiltzin, a ruler of the mythico-historic city of Tollan. It is a matter of much debate among historians to which degree, or whether at all, these narratives about this legendary Toltec ruler describe historical events. Furthermore, early Spanish sources written by clerics tend to identify the god-ruler Quetzalcoatl of these narratives with either Hernán Cortés or St. Thomas—an identification which is also a source of diversity of opinions about the nature of Quetzalcoatl. Among the Aztecs, whose beliefs are the best-documented in the historical sources, Quetzalcoatl was related to gods of the wind, of Venus, of the dawn, of merchants and of arts, crafts and knowledge. Quetzalcoatl is a god in Aztec mythology. His name comes from the Nahuatl language and means "feathered-serpent". In the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime, Greiger, Annie and Max worship him and believe he watches over the Nazca region. Quetzalcoatl is a feathered serpent. (Reports of there having been a supposed prophecy that a white, bearded Quetzalcoatl would return from the East by sea on the same calendar day that Cortés happened to arrive have little credibility, such retroactive, fatalistic prophecies having all been written by Spanish-born authors decades after the conquest.) The foremost among all Mesoamerican feathered serpent deities, Quetzalcoatl began as a rain god and gradually came to be one of the most important deities and culture heroes in Aztec society. Quetzalcoatl and Tezcatlipoca are the sons of the creator-god Ometecuhtli or Tonacatecutli; his mother is usually listed as Coatlicue. Alternate sources list Quetzalcoatl as the son of Tonacatecutli and his consort Tonacacihuatl, or as the son of the heavenly deity Mixcoatl and the moon and love goddess Xochiquetzal. [1] Quetzalcoatl was associated with the morning star, while his twin brother Xolotl was thought to represent the evening star. In Aztec culture, Quetzalcoatl was commonly syncretized with the wind god Ehecatl, who as an aspect of Quetzalcoatl was responsible for providing life-giving breath. [2] The association of Ehecatl with Quetzalcoatl is not definitively dated; it may come from early in the development of this figure, or it may have been a later Postclassic amalgam. As a separate deity, Ehecatl is a wind god often associated with Tlaloc, and is further listed as the ruler of the trecena (thirteen-day period) 1 Jaguar, whereas Quetzalcoatl is associated with the trecena of 1 Ocelotl. [3] Quetzalcoatl has analogues in the Yucatan Maya feathered serpent deity Kukulkan and the K'iche' Maya deity Gukumatz; both names can be translated as "feathersnake". He handled his macana proudly, glad to be a warrior of the temple. Under his gaze, the prisoners were cowed and accepting of their fate. But it was a good fate- they died so the world would live. Only constant sacrifice would keep the sun in the sky and the primordial in the dark, deep places of the universe. For a moment, he contemplated failure- and shuddered. There was no horror in sacrifice, but in annihilation, reduction to chaos, only the madman could find hope. The sacrifices no longer filled the streets- the priests always managed this with the greatest efficiency. The last few waited patiently on the temple's front, chains around the necks, despairing and empty. But it was not only men that were offered, and the cages of butterflies and hummingbirds sat around the temple dias. Perhaps these warriors had wives, children, parents that depended upon them. But the community could look after them- always, they would leave enough men to care for the population. They culled the weak, strengthening the peoples from which sacrifices were drawn. They would need good warriors, as despite the offerings, the end would come- it was just postponed by their efforts. Auehmoc came up behind him. "Brother, the ceremony is almost over. But dark portents have been seen in the city." "What has been seen, brother Auehmoc?" "They say a fire spread over the great lake Texcoco, and a blazing shape was seen in the sky like a head of corn, that outshone the evening star as it travelled through the heavens. A two-faced man stood by the temple and a woman could be heard weeping in the streets, though there was no-one there." Zuhixtli's eyes widened in alarm. "Then it is true. The year is One Reed- this is that year in which he said he would return. It is the year when Xochitl reminds us that life, like the flower, is beautiful but quickly fades. Quetzalcoatl is coming." A group of Eagle Warriors had gathered in the plaza, lining up between the torches. They wore ornate eagle headresses, great beaks over their faces and long feather headresses. Breastplates of hide and cotton, treated in brine for great strength, protected their chests. They bore atlatls- javelin-throwers- bows and knives, and stood to attention before Zuhixtli and Auehmoc. Auehmoc adjusted his Jaguar hide and tied his shield to his arm. "We are on a sacred mission from the priesthood. You have been chosen, as the best of your order, to accompany us to the city of those who have found the path of the gods. We shall stand upon the great Temple of Quetzalcoatl there and entreaty him for mercy." Zuhixtli nodded. "It is but twenty thousand land-rods from Tenochtitlan, and we should make the journey in three days." The porters now arrived, picking up the supplies and stretchers of equipment. There was maize and fish and meat, rope and axes, and a number of dogs to eat. The priest Alumatz beckoned the brothers from the temple steps, leaning on his staff and bearing a grim expression not caused solely by his age. "My sons, I place the greatest trust in you. This mission of yours I would give to no yaoquizqueh or sergeant, but only warriors as pious as yourselves. There are things that live around the city, and to stand within it is to take steps where no man was meant to tread. Not all your foes are human, but you must remain steadfast even in the greatest horror." The brothers bowed low, and Auehmoc spoke. "We shall please you and the Order, father Alumatz." The old priest nodded, and turned away. The Order was not like the other orders of the Aztecs- it was a society, founded by the priests, there to protect the Mexica from the demons and, to an extent, the gods. Without it- who could imagine the devastation? The things that they had chained within the pyramids of the forests and under the earth- it did not bear thinking about. The forest around Tenochtitlan was warm and humid in the midday sun, but moving through the dappled shade was tolerable for the Aztec soldiers. Quetzalcoatl (ケツァルコアトル Ketsu~arukoatoru)is a character of the Luck & Logic anime. He is the foreigner partner of Yukari Nanahoshi. Still, some prominent North American and European, Hispanic Culture and American History scholars insist that the name is derived from the sound a Mayan husband would make when he discovered his wife was going shopping and subsequently expected him to join her. Roughly translated it might mean "goddammit" which accounts for it's relevance to the name of a deity. In 2270, Captain Kirk and the USS Enterprise encountered Kukulkan, an alien being who had visited Earth in the ancient past. (Star Trek: First Contact) In the CD-ROM game Star Trek: 25th Anniversary, the Enterprise crew encountered Quetzalcoatl himself in 2268. He was a humanoid alien with supernatural powers and long life. He had made missions of peace to ancient Earth as well as Klingon colonies during the 2260s. His supernatural power stemmed from a gland at the top of his spine. Quetzalcoatl is the Legendary Titan of Summons. His power was sealed away in the Temple of Sun in Mexico. His first purpose was to become the Blue Star as a signal to summon the members of the Casterwill family scattered in the world. His second purpose was to be summoned from the Blue Star to battle the Betrayer. In the early 18th century, Davy Jones tattooed a picture of Quetzalcoatl to the chest of Captain Torrents. This angered Quetzalcoatl, who cursed Torrents by making bad weather follow him where ever he went. Quetzalcoatl are wyvern-like dragons in Ninja Gaiden II, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus. Quetzalcoatl is the god of the Aztecs and hippies. Because the Aztecs worshipped this ridiculous false god, the jealous true God sent Hernan Cortes to punish them. No, there is no credibility in the alternative theories that Cortes was the returning Quetzalcoatl. The Christian God says that Quetzalcoatl is not a real god, so logically we must believe what the Christian God says. In modern times, Quetzalcoatl has a new prophet, the drugged-up hippy named Daniel Pinchbeck. God intends to someday use Stephen Colbert as a new Cortes to smite this new incarnation of Satan. However, God and Stephen are willing to leave Pinchbeck alone for now because he doesn't believe in evolution. After all, a scientific theory is a much bigger threat than people worshipping a god they found through psychedelic drugs. This article is a stub. You can get a Tip of the Hat* from Stephen by adding only truthiness to it.*Tip of the Hat not guaranteed. Quetzalcoatl corresponds to the common mythological motif of a horned serpent found in the entirety of the Americas, It learns HP-J, VIT-J and Mag-J naturally, as well as elemental attack and defense junctions. Its unique command is Card Mod, which lets the player turn enemies into Triple Triad cards, and its refine abilities let the player make Thunder and Wind magic from items, mid level magic from low level spells, and various items from Triple Triad cards. Numéro d'ID: 15 Date d'Activation: 16 Mai 2002 Quetzalcoatl is the lawful god of the archeologist pantheon. However, Quetzalcoatl is one of several important gods in the Aztec pantheon along with the gods Tlaloc, Tezcatlipoca and Huitzilopochtli. (SG1: "Crystal Skull") The worship of a feathered serpent deity is first documented in Teotihuacan in the Late Preclassic through the Early Classic period (400 BCE– 600CE) of Mesoamerican chronology - "Teotihuacan arose as a new religious center in the Mexican Highland, around the time of Christ..." -- whereafter it appears to have spread throughout Mesoamerica by the Late Classic (600 –- 900 CE) (Ringle et al.). In the era following the 16th-century Spanish Conquest a number of sources were written that describe the god "Quetzalcoatl" and relates him to a ruler of the mythico-historic city of Tollan called by the names "Ce Acatl", "Topiltzin", "Nacxitl" or "Quetzalcoatl". It is a matter of much debate among historians to which degree, or whether at all, these narratives about this legendary Toltec ruler Topiltzin Ce Acatl Quetzalcoatl describe actual historical events. Furthermore early Spanish sources written by clerics tend to identify the god-ruler "Quetzalcoatl" of these narratives with either Hernán Cortés or St. Thomas—an identification which is also a source of diversity of opinions about the nature of "Quetzalcoatl". Among the Aztecs, whose beliefs are the best-documented in the historical sources, Quetzalcoatl was related to gods of the wind, of Venus, of the dawn, of merchants and of arts, crafts and knowledge. He was also the patron god of the Aztec priesthood, of learning and knowledge. Quetzalcoatl was one of several important gods in the Aztec pantheon along with the gods Tlaloc, Tezcatlipoca and Huitzilopochtli. Despite armless and legless, they are well in melee attack. They can constrict their enemy to death with their extremely hard scale and armor. Besides, they can perform high level Ninjutsu and Genjutsu without hand seals. They are well known of possessing one or more chakra nature with Wind Release as affinity. Venom can be found in these Legendary Beast but according to Kurowa, for a Quetzalcoatl to produce venom from their body is extremely hard which is opposite of their relative, snake. The Quetzalcoatl is labelled as Legendary Beast because of their rarity and holy strength. They do not live at Ninja World but another dimension which is almost impossible to be enter by normal human. They are possible of being summon but rarely going well with their user because of aggressive nature where they even killed the summoner. Quetzalcoatl (Nahuatl: plumed serpent) was a major god of both the Aztec and Olmec religions.
