Port Plunder
rdfs:comment
Port Plunder was an early Pirates themed world in LEGO Universe, replaced by Gnarled Forest. It would be the first world that players visited after completing the tutorial world of Vanguard Outpost. The world was a tropical island filled with ancient ruins, which pirates were looting and loading on to ships in their base, Swagger Town. Players were able to side with the pirates and loot the ancient relics, or side with the natives and protect them. The world also contained a racetrack, faction camp, property, and other areas. At certain times, a large pirate ship would have docked at Swagger Town, as an in-game event. Port Plunder is a major pirate den in the Basilisk Isles, off the north coast of Sothoryos. In truth, there have actually been numerous towns named "Port Plunder" over the centuries. Every generation or so, the Free Cities send a fleet to scour the Basilisk Isles of pirates, burning their ramshackle settlements to the ground. Within a year, however, a new settlement will pop up somewhere else to replace it, and the pirates will just name it "Port Plunder" again.
