Patrol boat Patrol Boat
rdfs:comment
A patrol boat is a relatively small naval vessel generally designed for defense duties. They may be operated by a nation's navy, coast guard, or police force, and may be intended for marine (blue water) and/or estuarine or river ("brown water") environments. They are commonly found engaged in various border protection roles, including anti-smuggling, anti-piracy, fisheries patrols, and immigration law enforcement. They are also often called upon to participate in rescue operations. Patrol boats saw use by various military forces during Liquid Ocelot's Insurrection. Patrol boats are, as their name suggests, commonly used as patrols. The patrol boat is a ship equipped with anti-aircraft weapons, usually deployed from a naval base as part of a defensive setup. Patrol boats, limited as they are to the water, are usually backed up with and fixed defences. Patrol boats can also be deployed by Boat Balloon, a known tactic of the Black Hats Patrol boats are considerably more dangerous to other boats than they are to aircraft, but the threat they pose even to their airborne foes should not be underestimated. Their small size and high speed can make them difficult to hit, particularly from a fast-moving fighter. Patrol Boats are a class and type of ship seen in the After War Gundam X anime. The patrol boat is a small naval vessel that appears in Generals and Zero Hour. yrFile:IconFC.png File:FC3 Icon.pngFile:FC4 Icon.png Image:FC3 cutout patrolboat.png "I sent the two of them on patrol that day. yrFile:IconFC.png File:FC3 Icon.pngFile:FC4 Icon.png Image:FC3 cutout patrolboat.png "I sent the two of them on patrol that day. They never came back. Just the boat, floating, empty. The jungle took them." — Survival Guide The Patrol Boat is a water vehicle in Far Cry , Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4. It is a fast, moderately armored water vessel armed with a DShK heavy machine gun. From the water it can be a deadly adversary, since it is agile and able to get into position to fire very quickly. For this reason it is best to try and kill the boats driver and/or gunner as soon as possible. This is the recommended water vehicle for finding relics in the sea as you can take out sharks in the area with the machine gun before entering the water. For your amusement you can use one to take out an entire outpost, if it is near to the shore line. In this role, the Patrol boat acts as a portable heavy machine gun. It is interesting that part of the inevitable enemy reinforcements (once the lead starts to fly) arrive at the scene by helicopter, adding more fun to the action. In Far Cry 4 they can be found NE of Kyrat (Northern Kyrat). They are heavily armored and have a good amount of firepower and walking space, making them very good for Co-op and multiplayer. They are occasionally used by Royal Guard troops, but never by Royal Army, Golden Path, or civilian units. The patrol boat is a small naval vessel that appears in Generals and Zero Hour. They are also often called upon to participate in rescue operations. Patrol boats saw use by various military forces during Liquid Ocelot's Insurrection. Patrol boats are warships typically smaller in size than a corvette and can include fast attack craft, torpedo boats and missile boats, although some are as large as a frigate. The offshore patrol vessels are usually the smallest ship in a navy's fleet that are large and seaworthy enough to patrol off-shore in the open ocean. In larger militaries, such as in the United States military, offshore patrol vessels usually serve in the coast guard, but many smaller nations navies operate these type of ships. Patrol Boat is a vehicle used in Dino Crisis 2. Patrol Boats are a class and type of ship seen in the After War Gundam X anime.
