Mucho más tarde en la aventura Yuka organizará el secuestro de la joven hija de Montiel, Yadira, por el cadáver viviente Makala, y en esa ocasión sí nos enteramos que su objetivo es tomar venganza por la profanaciòn del templo nativo. Cuando la Araña Negra descubre que Kalimán está en la isla decide contratar a Yuka para que lo asesine ayudada por sus poderes de vudú. Yuka acepta y hace un muñeco de trapo que representa a su enemigo, y clavándole alfileres consigue ponerlo fuera de combate temporalmente. Solín y Boni son quienes logran salvar a Kalimán del ataque de la bruja, Boni descubriendo su papel en el secuestro de Yadira y la localización de su choza, y Solín tirando al fuego el muñeco de trapo que la bruja había confeccionado. Desafortunadamente en esa ocasión Solín termina siendo capturado por la bruja, pero Boni consigue avisarle a Kalimán y este regresa inmediatamente para salvar al muchacho. En la pelea que sobreviene la choza de Yuka es destruida, pero la bruja logra escapar. right|230pxA pesar de que Yuka no logra cumplir el encargo de la Araña Negra de asesinar a Kalimán éste decide pagarle el dinero pactado, presumiblemente para no convertirla en su enemiga. Una vez Kalimán rescata a Yadira de la tierra de los cadáveres vivientes decide buscar a Yuka y la encuentra fácilmente merodeando en el cementerio de la ciudad. Inexplicablemente Kalimán decide no capturarla y limitarse a interrogarla acerca de los objetivos de la Araña Negra. Una vez la bruja dice lo que sabe y Kalimán la deja sola, ella reanuda sus ataques de vudú contra Kalimán, a quien odia profundamente por ser la única persona que la ha vencido. En su última aparición en la aventura Yuka se interna por las tierras de los cadáveres vivientes y los obliga a guiarla a la cabaña de un extraño hechicero que habita con ellos llamado Casandro. Aunque sabe bien que la Araña Negra se propone profanar el templo de Yeyé Kumbé, le dice a Casandro, el guardian del lugar, que quien se propone hacerlo es Kalimán, y así lanza al poderoso hechicero contra él. Ella es muy abierta y sólo quiere lo mejor para su querida amiga Kagome. Ella parece ser la más franca y fuerte por sus comentarios ingeniosos (como llamar a Inuyasha un delincuente). A veces se le mira comiendo en Wacdnalds, junto con sus amigas Ayumi, Eri y Kagome. Ademas cuando Kagome enferma de fiebre,ella, sus amigas y Hojo la van a visitar, también le ayudan a estudiar para el examen de el dia siguiente. En el festival escolar Yuka dirigía la muestra de cocina y ella fue la que le pidió a Kagome que le trajera un ingrediente especial (la comida seca ). En el capitulo 160 del anime Yuka y sus amigas Ayumi y Eri conocieron a Inuyasha cuando siguieron a Kagome a su casa e Inuyasha estaba allí. Yuka (優香 Yuuka), born Hiroko Okabe (岡部広子 Okabe Hiroko), is a Japanese actress, gravure idol, and television host. She made her debut as a gravure idol in 1997 and quickly gained popularity for her videos, photo books, and magazines. In 1998 she joined Horipro's idol group HIP (Horipro Idol Paradise) and eventually became the group's leader until her graduation from the group in August of 2002.
