Old Joe
rdfs:comment
Old Joe is a fence in A Christmas Carol who buys clothes from the dead to sell at a later date. During Ebenezer Scrooge's future, his former maid is seen selling his clothing to a criminal named Old Joe. Scrooge yells to his former maid that she is fired, but because the Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come shrunk him earlier, she can't hear or see him. But then Old Joe is seen with a fire poker swung in the direction of Scrooge. The fire poker was actually aimed at a nearby rat. This starts a three way chase between Old Joe, the rat and Scrooge. Old Joe is the future version of Joseph Simmons, a Looper who assassinates people for the Mob using time travel. Old Joe is the main antagonist of the 2012 film, Looper. He is portrayed by Bruce Willis. Old Joe is a large, multi-limbed spider who acts as a fence, dividing up Scrooge's belongings, in The Muppet Christmas Carol. He later has a cameo as a pirate in Muppet Treasure Island where he is performed by Jerry Nelson. He hits on his two female assistants often, particulary the Laundress. Old Joe is the savvy owner of a junkyard who helps Walter White and Jesse Pinkman out of several scenarios. Old Joe Catfish that John says is ten-foot long The Last Straw Old Joe is a criminal in A Christmas Carol who buys stolen items such as the clothes from the dead Scrooge, to sell at a later date.
