Bova is one of the students aboard The Christa; he is most well known for his infallible pessimism. Bova is a Whitman student. She was a six-foot-plus humanoid bipedal cow with horns, hunched shoulders, hooved feet and a bovine face; she lacked an udder but might have four stomachs. Her condition was not specifically GSD, but one of the "other bizarre mutant issues that always get lumped under the umbrella of ‘GSD’." It is later revealed that her specific condition is called "Chimerical Trait Acquisition", where the mutant's DNA somehow takes bits of the DNA of other animals into it, and spreads the corrupted DNA throughout the body. The condition is as-yet irreversible and was expected to eventually tranform her physically and mentally into a cow.

Bova asked She-Beast if she could get Jobe to transform her into one of his Drow as a means to stop the eventual transformation. She is a telepath. By March 5, 2007, she has fully transformed into a Drow with no observed problems. Despite it no longer being appropriate, she decides to keep her codename as a memorial of sorts. Her Drow body type differs from the one Jobe and Belphoebe have, being petite and pixie-ish. She still has an American Cornbelt accent, but now it sounds cute perky instead of tragic as when she looked like a cow. Despite her accent, she is from Belize.
