Like the other games in the series, it features a diverse roster of characters from Nintendo and its second parties to fight in various kinds of matches. However, Brawl is the first Super Smash Bros. game to feature third-party characters. Most of the game's music is made up of arranged versions of pieces that originated in previously released Nintendo video games; though some play exactly as they did in their original games, others are arranged by one of 36 renowned video game composers. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is the third installment of the Super Smash Bros. series, released on the Wii in March 2008. It features Pit as a playable character, a first since the November 1991 game Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is a gaming crossover fighting game published by Nintendo for the Wii console. As with its predecessors, Super Smash Bros. Brawl is a departure from traditional fighting games, notably in its simplified move commands and its emphasis on ring outs over knockouts. This installment also includes a deeper single-player mode than its predecessors, known as The Subspace Emissary. This mode is a plot-driven, side-scrolling beat 'em up game featuring Brawl's playable characters. Super Smash Bros. Brawl supports multiplayer battles with up to four combatants, and is the first game of its franchise to support online battles through Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Super Smash Bros. Brawl (大乱闘スマッシュブラザーズX Dai Rantō Sumasshuburazāzu X; Great Fray Smash Brothers X) is a fighting game for the Wii. It is the third entry in the Super Smash Bros. series, following Super Smash Bros. on the Nintendo 64 and Super Smash Bros. Melee on the Nintendo GameCube. It was released on January 31, 2008 in Japan and in North America on March 9 of that same year. Super Smash Bros. Brawl, known in Japan as Dairantō Smash Brothers X (Japanese: 大乱闘 スマッシュ ブラザーズ X, Dairantō Sumasshu Burazāzu Ekkusu, roughly "Great Melee Smash Brothers X"), is a game that was released for the Wii in 2008. It is a fighting game that features characters from Nintendo game franchises and third party franchises. It is the third game in the series to be released, and is developed by Sora Ltd., and published by Nintendo. Super Smash Bros. Brawl (usually just called Brawl) is the most popular game on NR. Nearly everyone on NR plays the game, and they're are many people who consider themselves "good" in one way or another. Despite this game being almost as overrated then Final Fantasy, no one will dare admit it. Unfortunately, the SSE was badly plotted and the fighting is no where is good as the style in Melee for competitive fighting. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is an early episode of SuperMarioLogan. Super Smash Bros. Little Mac appears in Brawl as an Assist Trophy, and the sole representative of the Punch-Out!! series both in the game and the entire series thus far. Assist Trophies are blue capsule-shaped items that can spawn in most matches. When a player grabs the Assist Trophy, he or she holds it up and the character inside bursts out to help them in the fight (though a few exceptions' effects on the players are neutral). Mac will dart around the stage, punching at enemies. He mostly uses hooks, but will also use jabs and uppercuts similar to his signature Star Punch. When he appears, the bell sound effect used to signal the beginning of a boxing match is heard. Like several of Nintendo's silent protagonists such as Mario and Link, he does not speak, but shouts and grunts in a low voice when attacki Sonic arrives extremely late to the Subspace Emissary storyline. Whilst all the other characters have had stories interlinking at several points and showed their march into subspace, Sonic was supposedly there all along and joined the party just in time to use his Spin Attack to smash Tabuu's wings. He can then be used against the final boss. Future playthroughs then allow you to play as Sonic in all previous levels and in skirmishes. The Subspace Emissary is the storyline of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. In it, all of the Nintendo characters live in a single world, which is one day attacked by an army of robots (known as R.O.B.s) and shadow creatures from an alternate dimension known as Subspace. Another aspect of this world is that when a character "dies," they are transformed into a trophy until someone else touches the base of the trophy to revive them. Spoiler warning: Spoilers end here. Brawl uses a battle system unlike that of typical fighting games. Players can choose from a large selection of characters, each attempting to knock their opponents off the screen as they fight on various stages. Instead of using traditional health bars that start at 100% and lose value, Super Smash Bros. Brawl characters start the game with 0% and the value rises as they take damage. However, damage will continue to increase beyond 100%, up to 999%, because it's impossible to be defeated in this way. As a character's percentage increases, the character flies farther back when hit. When a character is knocked beyond a stage's boundary and disappears from the screen, the character loses either a life or a point depending on the mode of play. Supe Super Smash Bros. n21:abstract
This game is for the Nintendo Wii. * Giga Jigglypuff * R.O.B.'s Permanent Laser * Lucas's Giant Double Jump * Groudon Freezes Super Smash Bros. Brawl is the third game in the Super Smash Bros. series. It is played on the Wii and it uses the Wii Remote and Nunchuck to play. There is also support for both the Classic controller and GameCube controller. "Great Melee Smash Brothers X") is the third installment in the Super Smash Bros. series of fighting games, developed by Sora Ltd. and published by Nintendo for the Wii. It was released in North America on March 9, 2008. Sonic the Hedgehog appears in the game as an unlockable playable character. He is one of the two third-party characters that were added to the game, the other character being Solid Snake. Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Abgekürzt SSBB) ist ein Spiel der "Super Smash Bros."-Reihe. Now you must go to all 7 continets to save the princess! Super Smash Bros. Brawl is the third game in the Super Smash Bros. franchise. It was released for the Nintendo Wii. It features Yoshi in all colors except Black Yoshi and White Yoshi. Yoshi's battlefield is based on Yoshi's Story, although music from Yoshi's Island is used. Super Smash Bros. The gameplay in Brawl in quite versatile as far as methods of control go. Players will find it possible to plug in the Nintendo Gamecube Controller to play in the same fashion one would play Melee. Other devices are also known to work. Forks, screwdrivers, spoons, metal and glass pipes, male genitalia, Dance Dance Revolution pads, thermostat switches, and the Wii Nun chuck are confirmed methods of playing Brawl. The gameplay in Brawl has changed slightly from Melee to gameplay that is more suitable to accomodate players that insist on neatly placing the blame of their seemingly endless tide of losses upon their chosen character's inadequacy. Losing a match to a more skilled player, often places the elephant that is known a self-esteem problem onto the losing player. This is more frequent in cases where the losing player dedicates a large portion of their life to the game. The realization that somebody could "pwn" them so often and with such ease, often shocks their entire self-outlook thus causing them to mentally reflect on their inadequacy as a player. In most cases the player cannot handle this and is driven to choose from three courses of action to combat this issue: Option 3 was the most frequently chosen course of action, which resulted in a mass decline in the world population. Unfortunately. Nintendo had to prove to the public that it was hearing its consumers' pleas. Although Option 2 was the least frequent of the three, Nintendo chose to take action and address this issue by changing several characters' stats. This resulted in more "Noob-Friendly" gameplay in Brawl than in Melee. Several characters that were portrayed in Melee as strong-willed, combat-enduring adversaries, have since been reduced to snivelling, crack-addicted, homeless people singing for quarters in Los Angeles in Brawl. Brawl is a highly anticipated fighting game for Nintendo's Wii console. The game's release date was announced as December 3, 2007, but has since been delayed to February 10, 2008. The game was delayed a second time and will now be released March 9, 2008. The game is the third in the Super Smash Bros. series, which began on the Nintendo 64 and continued with Super Smash Bros. Melee on the Nintendo GameCube. The series involves Nintendo characters from various franchises fighting on stages inspired by Nintendo games. This wiki will chronicle all updates to the game, mostly from the official website, which is being updated every weekday with new information. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is a fighting game, for the Wii, that features a wide variety of Nintendo characters as well as some third-party characters. It is the third game in the series. Unlike the other installments, however, this is the first to have 2 third party characters, those being Sonic the Hedgehog and Metal Gear's Solid Snake. The total number of playable characters in Brawl is 35, 9 more than in Melee. The game requires 128 free blocks of memory in the Wii System Memory. No data, except some vault data, can be copied to an SD Card or transferred onto another Wii. If the player does not create a save file when they start, he or she will not be able to play via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and vault data will not be saved. The game features Mr. Game and Watch as an unlockable playable character and a stage to honor him, Flat Zone 2. Mr. Game and Watch also has his own trophy and Final Smash trophy, Octopus. Super Smash Bros. Sonic arrives extremely late to the Subspace Emissary storyline. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is a crossover Nintendo fighting game released on Wii in March 2008, developed by Masahiro Sakurai, and is the third installment in the Super Smash Bros. series. An immensely anticipated title by any standard, Brawl features a plethora of playable characters hailing from all manner of famous Nintendo franchises, such as Mario, Pokémon, and The Legend of Zelda, as well as third-party franchise characters like Sonic the Hedgehog and Solid Snake from the Metal Gear series, and features a very out-of-the-ordinary fighting system that allows for the usage of items, stage hazards, and what not. The game is major to the Golden Sun community because some Golden Sun-themed content has been included as cameo material, and this is the first instance of Golden Sun characters officially appearing in any form of media since the 2003 release of Golden Sun: The Lost Age (Golden Sun special effects have appeared beforehand in 2005's Mario Tennis: Power Tour, but not characters). Note: The player has the ability to reverse the roles of Princess Zelda and Princess Peach within the story, although this has little effect on the overall course of events. This summary follows only the stories of Link, Zelda and Ganondorf. Spoiler warning: Plot or ending details follow. The story begins with Princess Zelda and Princess Peach watching a battle between Mario and Kirby in a large arena. However, the stadium is invaded by the Subspace army, and Zelda and Peach are trapped in cages by Petey Piranha. Kirby survives the attack, defeats Petey, and manages to save Zelda/Peach by flying away with her before being forced to crash land. The other princess is turned into a trophy and captured by Wario. Meanwhile, Link has claimed the Master Sword from a pedestal in a forest, when he and Yoshi are attacked by the Subspace Army. They follow the army's ship, the Halberd, to a nearby lake. At the lake, Kirby and Zelda/Peach are attacked by the villain Bowser, who turns the princess into a trophy while creating an evil clone of her using Subspace matter. The clone then battles the nearby heroes Mario and Pit/Link and Yoshi while Bowser absconds with Zelda/Peach's trophy. Link and Yoshi/Mario and Pit arrive just in time to see Mario and Pit/Link and Yoshi dispatch the Zelda/Peach clone, and proceed to attack the duo, mistaking the clone for the real Zelda/Peach. Link and Yoshi/Mario and Pit are defeated and turned into trophies, but when King Dedede appears with Peach/Zelda's trophy, the heroes form an alliance and chase after him. Before they are able to rescue her, however, Bowser defeats King Dedede and takes Peach/Zelda to the Halberd. At this point, Ganondorf enters the story, as it is revealed that he was commanding Bowser and the Subspace Army. He, in turn, is working for the primary villain of the Super Smash Bros. series, a giant disembodied hand known as Master Hand. Soon after, Meta Knight, Lucario, and Solid Snake board the Halberd, freeing both Peach and Zelda from their prisons. Zelda then transforms into Sheik to hide from Snake and help Peach reach the deck of the Halberd, while Lucario and Snake follow Meta Knight to the bridge, defeating w:c:super-smash-bros:Duon in the process. After Meta Knight reclaims the Halberd from the Subspace Army, they use the ship to gather the remaining heroes, including Link, and head into the Subspace dimension. During the assault on the Subspace Gunship, the Halberd was destroyed, but Link and Zelda managed to get to Subspace via the Falcon Flyer. Upon their arrival, Ganondorf betrays Bowser, turning him into a trophy. He then summons Master Hand, possibly intending to betray it as well, but it is revealed that Master Hand is itself being controlled by a mysterious and powerful entity known as Tabuu. Tabuu uses his power (Off Waves) to turn every single character into a trophy. However, King Dedede had placed timed restoration devices on Luigi and Ness previously, which conveniently revive them after Tabuu departs. Kirby, who had swallowed a restoration device, is also restored, and the three proceed through Subspace, restoring other characters along the way. If both Link and Zelda are revived, they will restore Ganondorf, who aids the rest of the characters in a final battle against Tabuu. The heroes are victorious, both defeating the evil Tabuu and saving their world from Subspace. Spoiler warning: Spoilers end here. Super Smash Bros. Advantages to using Brawl: * Being a fighter, brawl allows for very simple or very impressive fight scenes. * Contains a custom stage builder. * Contains over 3 dozen diverse characters from various nintendo franchises as well as sonic and snake. * Can be hacked, which allows almost total control over all of the game's physics, as well as super-powered versions of various characters. * The diverse character set allows for many crossover machinimas that would otherwise not be possible, as well as the use of characters from game series that do not have a game with vital machinima components. * when hacked, there is a pitch black stage that can be used for green-screening. Disadvantages to using brawl: * Without hacking, the replay mode camera is rather restricted. * Very restricted movements. * exposed faces, making it clear that the characters' lips aren't moving. * 2.5D game, restricting character and camera movement. * replay mode camera can only focus on characters, and thus does not have a free movement camera. Following its predecessors, Super Smash Bros. Super Smash Bros. Brawl includes a function which allows players to create profiles with personalized button configurations for each control method along with their chosen username. The characters fight each other using a variety of attacks. Players execute each move by pressing a button in conjunction with a tilt of the control stick or a press of the +Control Pad, depending on the mode of control. In addition to basic attacks, characters have access to more powerful moves, known as smash attacks. Each character has four unique moves, which often cause effects besides damage to an opponent. Super Smash Bros. Brawl introduces the ability to perform character-specific super attacks, referred to as "Final Smash" moves. Significantly more powerful than regular attacks, these moves have a wide variety of effects that range from nearly unavoidable blasts to temporary transformations. Final Smash moves may be performed upon destroying a Smash Ball, an item bearing the Smash Bros. insignia. Characters can use items ranging from projectiles to melee weapons; each has a different effect on the characters around it. Although many items have returned from previous Super Smash Bros. games, new ones have been introduced as well. Some returning items have changed appearance and function. Two varieties of items, Assist Trophies and Poké Balls, temporarily summon guest characters and Pokémon, respectively, that generally aid the summoner. They cannot be controlled by players and are usually invincible. Super Smash Bros. Brawl - jest to trójwymiarowa bijatyka, trzecia część gry z serii Super Smash Bros., w krórej udział biorą różne postacie z gier firmy Nintendo. Super Smash Bros. Brawl, is the third installment in the Super Smash Bros. series of crossover fighting games, developed by Sora and published by Nintendo for the Wii video game console. Brawl was announced at a pre-E3 2005 press conference by Nintendo president and Chief Executive Officer Satoru Iwata. Masahiro Sakurai, director of the previous two games in the series, assumed the role of director for the third installment at the request of Iwata. Game development began in October 2005 with a creative team that included collaborations with various second- and third-party Nintendo developers. The game was released on January 31, 2008 in Japan, March 9, 2008 in North America, June 26, 2008 in Australia, and June 27, 2008 in Europe. The number of playable characters that players can control in Brawl has grown from that of Super Smash Bros. Melee; Brawl is the first game in the series to expand past Nintendo characters and allow players to control third-party characters. Like its predecessors, the object of Brawl is to knock an opponent off the screen. It is a departure from traditional fighting games, notably in its simplified move commands and emphasis on ring outs over knockouts. It includes a more extensive single-player mode than its predecessors, known as The Subspace Emissary (SSE). This mode is a plot-driven, side-scrolling beat 'em up featuring computer-generated cut scenes and playable characters from the game. Brawl also supports multiplayer battles with up to four combatants, and is the first game of its franchise to feature online battles via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. The game received positive reviews, with critics praising the game's entertainment value, despite issues relating to Brawl's loading times. The game's musical score, which was composed through a collaboration among 38 renowned video game composers, was lauded for its representation of different generations in gaming history. Brawl received an aggregate review score of 93% on Metacritic and 92.6% on Game Rankings. It has sold a total of 8.43 million copies worldwide as of March 2009, and it is the fifth best-selling Wii game. Super Smash Bros. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is the third game in the Super Smash Bros. series, and the first to be for the Wii, published by Nintendo and Hal. Laboratory. Olimar's moves differ in damage, knockback and range depending on the type and number of Pikmin he has following him. Neutral special attack – Pikmin Pluck:This move allows Olimar to pluck a Pikmin, of which there can exist up to six for one player. The type of Pikmin plucked is noticeably dependent on the area picked in. This move can only be performed on the ground, and using it while running with five or fewer Pikmin stops Olimar instantly. It is one of the fastest special moves in the game. Side special attack – Pikmin Throw:Olimar throws Pikmin, which stick to the opponent and do damage, much as they would to enemies in the Pikmin games. Purple Pikmin, however deliver knockback to the foe instead of clinging to the opponent. White Pikmin are particularly effective in this attack because they do three times the damage of any other Pikmin. It should be noted that the high-angled throw of Yellow Pikmin is preserved from the Pikmin games, but that their motion is also slow. White Pikmin move quickly and horizontally when thrown, and Purple Pikmin land short. Down special attack – Pikmin Order:Olimar calls any idle Pikmin to him, which are then organized by color. If this is already the case, the move cycles through the Pikmin, and the order is the same as in Pikmin 2. During the few frames before blowing his whistle, Olimar is invulnerable to knockback, though he can still take damage and be grabbed. The benefit, then, is that a counterattack can be made more quickly than if Olimar had shielded. Up special attack – Pikmin Chain:Olimar releases his Pikmin all together at an angle that can be somewhat varied. The move has a high range, proportional to the number of Pikmin at Olimar's side, and fair knockback. Its speed suits the purpose of a surprise attack. Its main purpose is as a form of recovery from off the stage, but it cannot grab an edge that an opponent is hanging onto (unless a Purple is at the tip). This special move is the 2nd longest tether recovery in the game. Final Smash – End Of Day: Olimar takes off in his spaceship (which traps and hurts enemies, doing about 27% damage from entering to take-off), leaving his opponents alone for Bulborbs to attack them. During the duration of the Bulborb attacks, the opponents receive about 47% damage. Afterwards, the ship crash lands back onto the stage, hurting (34%) anyone in its path. Despite being left behind, Olimar's Pikmin are unharmed. The confirmation of the move at Smash Bros. DOJO!! stated that if more fighters are present, the move does more damage. On the other hand, if more fighters are dueling when this Final Smash is initiated, then there is more of a chance that the fighters would steal Olimar's KOs. Masahiro Sakurai stated that this was to balance the move out. The ship is a Meteor Smash if it hits a foe in midair. Another possible use of End of Day therefore is to edgeguard by intercepting recovering enemies with the ship. It is a fighting game that features characters from Nintendo game franchises and third party franchises. It is the third game in the series to be released, and is developed by Sora Ltd., and published by Nintendo. Super Smash Bros. Samus Aran is a playable character in the game; she becomes Zero Suit Samus after performing her Final Smash move, (Zero Laser). The player can also begin a match as Zero Suit Samus by holding down the 'shield' button on the controller before selecting a stage. Ridley appears as a boss in Brawl's adventure mode in both his regular form and as Meta Ridley. Also featured in Brawl are two Metroid-based stages: Norfair, which is based on the area of the same name, and Frigate Orpheon, based on the original Pirate frigate that Samus infiltrates in Metroid Prime. The Brinstar stage from Melee also makes a return appearance. A Metroid appears as an Assist Trophy. Sheegoth, Space Pirate, Metroid Prime (exoskeleton and core essence), Dark Samus, Parasite Queen, Screw Attack, Luminoth, Ridley, Meta Ridley, and Samus in her Power, Dark, Gravity, Fusion, Zero and Varia Suits are all featured as collectible Trophies. Space Pirate, Zebes Inhabitant, Ridley, Warrior Ing, and Samus's various suits and gunships are collectible Stickers, among many others. See Event Match for a list of Metroid-centric Event Matches. Super Smash Bros. Super Smash Bros. Super Smash Bros. Brawl, known in Japan as Dairantō Smash Brothers X(大乱闘スマッシュブラザーズXDairantō Sumasshu Burazāzu Ekkusu, lit. "Great Melee Smash Brothers X"), is the third installment in the Super Smash Bros. series of crossover fighting games, developed by an ad hoc development team consisting of Sora, Game Arts and staff from other developers, and published by Nintendo for the Wii video game console. Brawl was announced at a pre-E3 2005 press conference by Nintendo president and Chief Executive Officer Satoru Iwata. Masahiro Sakurai, director of the previous two games in the series, assumed the role of director for the third installment at the request of Iwata. Game development began in October 2005 with a creative team that included members from several Nintendo and third party development teams. After delays due to development problems, the game was finally released on January 31, 2008 in Japan, March 9, 2008 in North America, June 26, 2008 in Australia and June 27, 2008 in Europe. Twenty-seven months after its original Japanese release, the game was released in Korea, on April 29, 2010. The number of playable characters that players can control in Brawl has grown from that in Super Smash Bros. The game can also be uniquely played on four controllers, which include the Classic Controller, GameCube Controller, Wii Remote and Nunchuk and Wii Remote, simultaneously. Super Smash Bros. Brawl received critically positive reviews, with critics praising the game's entertainment value, despite issues relating to Brawl's loading times. The game's musical score, which was composed through a collaboration among 38 renowned video game composers, was lauded for its representation of different generations in gaming history. It received an aggregate review score of 93% on Metacritic and 92.75% on Game Rankings. Brawl was ranked "Fighting Game of the Year" of 2008 by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences. As of March 2010, it is the eighth best-selling Wii game by selling a total of 9.48 million copies worldwide. Like several of Nintendo's silent protagonists such as Mario and Link, he does not speak, but shouts and grunts in a low voice when attacking.Unfortunately, Little Mac is reckless and his artificial intelligence is not up to par with other Assist Trophies, and he often jumps off the stage his doom if his targets do not stand still. Unlike the others such as Gray Fox, his midair jumps are limited to one and he cannot reappear in other locations if he leaves the ring. However, his punches are very strong and can send foes flying at low amounts of damage. His design comes from the 1985 version of Punch-Out!! in his classic green Minor Circuit attire. The backs of his boxing gloves sport a K·O logo. His face is fixed in an intimidating grimace that does not change as playable characters' faces do. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is the third installment in Nintendo's cross-series 3D fighting game. It is the first series where Pikmin elements have exceeded a couple of trophies, most notably for the inclusion of Olimar as a playable character. __TOC__ Super Smash Bros.
