Electroid is a Toa of Electricity member of the Order of Mata Nui. Electroid is a minor character from the 1985 animated series She-Ra: Princess of Power. Electroid is the Gyroid Pokemon that has 1 ability and gyrates the universe! In the year 5354, the newly built Clank escaped a robot factory with a blarg ship to warn the galaxy about Drek's plans for the galaxy. Several Electroids were dispatched to hunt Clank down, pursuing him in their own Blarg ships. Eventually, one of the Electroids managed to get a lock on Clank, blasting Clank's ship and sending it spiraling towards planet Veldin An Electroid is an enemy in Ratchet & Clank. Originally from the planet Quartu, these were one of the first enemies Ratchet encountered on Veldin while on his way to investigate the crash site where he would eventually find Clank. They arrived at Veldin following Clank's crash-landing, who they were chasing. The blarg manufactured the Electroids, evidently serving as guards for the robot factory on planet Quartu. The PlasmaBots succeeded them. Electroids first appear in Donkey Kong Country Returns in the seventh world, Factory. They are first seen in the second level of the world, Slammin' Steel, where they are quite common, and can be killed individually with a barrel, which will cause it to explode, and break the beam connecting to the the one it's connected to, if indeed it is. They aren't seen again until the fifth level of the world, Switcheroo. In this level they serve most of the same purposes as before, except when climbing along chains, they may become an obsacle, as well as when walking on platforms, although they will hover just high enough for you to crouch underneath them as they pass. They will also hover over tires, and you will occasionally have no choice other than to bounce over them at the right time. They can also be defeated with Buckbombs, as well as by shoving them off the screen with the switches. Later, In Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, they will make an appearance as a common enemy in the Golden Temple level Robo Factory.
