Locating Kesh on Deshad, Armande recruited the young man into the Raiders. Kesh quickly became Armande's right hand man and apprentice, an efficient and lethal commander who scored dozens of successes for the Raiders and a large influx of capital, which allowed the brotherhood to expand even further. Armande captained the Raiders through the Great Liberation, using the chaos of war to prey upon settlements more distant from Mezlagob than its own sector. However, a year after the war ended, Kilwyo Kesh decided he had learned enough and was ready to lead the Raiders, and stunned Armande, put him in an escape pod, and shot it into a black hole, bringing a crushing end to Armande's life.
