Elemental planes Elemental Planes
rdfs:comment
Elemental Planes are locations in Masters of the Elements. The Elemental Planes are lands where the Elemental Lords rule. There are five Elemental planes: There are four Elemental Planes, each manifesting a specific element: Fire, Water, Air, and Earth. They are in many respects similar to the elemental planes of the core D&D cosmology, but they have their differences. In the "planar structure" of the "multiverse", certain planes are closer to Polaqu than others, and therefore exert their characteristics more directly on it. On each elemental plane, spells with the descriptor of the relavent alignment are empowered, and opposite alignment spells are impeded. Also, each plane is slightly oriented toward a particular alignment. There are many elemental planes in the Arcanus Obliques, each signifying their given element. The Elemental Planes form the first four levels of what NetHack refers to as the End Game. As the name suggests, each of the four Planes represents one of the four elements: * the Plane of Earth * the Plane of Air * the Plane of Fire * the Plane of Water This page is a . n7:abstract
The Elemental Planes form the first four levels of what NetHack refers to as the End Game. As the name suggests, each of the four Planes represents one of the four elements: * the Plane of Earth * the Plane of Air * the Plane of Fire * the Plane of Water At present, the planes always appear in this order, and are followed by the Astral Plane. The Plane of Earth is entered by climbing the upstair on Dungeon Level 1 with the Amulet of Yendor in your possession (if you do not have the Amulet -- perhaps because you have been fooled by a fake -- you will instead "escape the dungeon" and the game will end immediately, so beware). Movement from one plane to the next, and from the Plane of Water to the Astral plane, then requires finding a magic portal. It is impossible to move backwards to an earlier plane, move forward without the real Amulet of Yendor, or to return to any of the earlier dungeon branches. All of the planes are no-teleport and have undiggable floors. A cursed potion of gain level will not work either, although it can be used to go from dungeon level 1 to the Plane of Earth with the amulet. This page is a .
