Annie performed stand-up comedy at The Improv in Los Angeles following Jerry Seinfeld and has authored a book of short stories called "Where Would I Be Without Me?: Stories, Scenes, and Significant Others" reflecting her observations on love, life and relationships. She is also a produced playwright and screenwriter. Her award winning screenplay called "Martin's Theory" was recently an official selection in the Beverly Hills Film Festival. Annie is an avid reader, writer and lover of life, loves photography, painting, great conversations and meditating in her organic garden with her dog Lucy who was on the cover of Lucky Dog magazine a month after Annie was on the cover of "Woman's World" magazine. She is frequently confused as being married to actor Henry Ian Cusick, who is married to theatre director and playwright Annie Cusick Wood, which she is not. Annie is actually happily married to writer/director Peter Arpesella and is the founder of the volunteer website, "dogoodstuff.org" where Annie has been an active supporter of the non-profit organizations including: AIDS Project Los Angeles, Mach of Dimes, L.A. Works, Wildlife Refuge, PETA, Earthsave L.A., Drop in the Bucket, Food on Foot, Amnesty International, Project Angel Food, Haven House, Senior Smiles and Save the Children.
