Blitzkrieg (ブリッツクリーク Burittsukurīku?) is a Bonne machine boss that Mega Man must defeat in order to get into the Saul Kada Ruins in Mega Man Legends 2. In this battle, Teisel Bonne has stolen Kimotama City's prized golden statue and uses it as a shield. If the statue is destroyed in the battle, Mega Man will have to pay five-thousand Zenny to replace it. Blitzkrieg doesn't move and only attacks by throwing stolen objects like food and books at Mega Man or releasing two energy spheres from its arms when distant. He is assisted by three Servbots using Servbot Borers. If Mega Man gets close to Blitzkrieg or attack, it will use the golden statue as shield. If the statue is destroyed, Blitzkrieg will be able to use its full power, moving under the sand at high speed and jumping out to attack with missiles, sometimes appearing only to laugh. Seeking to acquire the project's secrets to create his own army of super-soldiers, he sent the Death Squad to the United States to steal the formula that transformed scrawny Steve Rogers into the muscle-bound Captain America. The creator of Project: Rebirth's Super Soldier Serum, Doctor Abraham Erskine, had already been assassinated by a Nazi agent. Before his passing however, he gave each of his research assistants a part of the formula. He entrusted the complete formula, as well as the secret of his Vita-Ray research to one man, Colonel James Fletcher. The Killing Squad systematically sought out all of Erskine's associates. Blitzkrieg intercepted an Army convoy transporting a scientist named Doctor Keller to a safe house. He killed Keller with his electric barbs as well as the military personnel assigned to protect him. He then met up with his confederates at their secret stronghold in an abandoned meat-packing plant in Indianhead, Maryland. When the Red Skull discovered that Colonel Fletcher possessed the complete formula, he sent the Killing Squad to the Project: Rebirth facility to abduct him. They brought him to a hidden safe house where they interrogated him at length. Fletcher managed to escape, but Blitzkrieg entangled Fletcher in his electro-cables as the soldier dived out the window. Both men fell to the ground, but survived. Blitzkrieg's cable was still attached to Fletcher as he entered a vehicle and began to drive off. The Nazi sent another electrical surge down the conduit that caused the car to explode. Fletcher survived, but Blitzkrieg and the others tracked him to a local eatery called Smyth Diner. Säurespritze captured Fletcher and they brought him to a Nazi compound in occupied Paris, France. Along with another Nazi agent known as the Master Interrogator, the Killing Squad continued to torture Colonel Fletcher, but he refused to yield the secrets of the Super Soldier Formula. Fletcher was able to escape once again, but his freedom was short-lived as he flung himself through a window to his death. The complete Super Soldier Formula died with him. Captain America, arriving too late to save Fletcher, raided the Nazi compound and fought against the Killing Squad. Blitzkrieg fired his electro-dart at Captain America, but the hero deflected it with his shield. The assailants continued to exchange blows with one another and Säurespritze was killed during the fight. Cap ran out of the compound onto the streets of Paris, but Blitzkrieg and Zahnmörder stayed close behind. Lending his power to their cause, it appeared he was going to change history until travelers from the future defeated him. Crashed into the English Channel, an undersea event has recently re-awakened him to rejoin the Decepticon ranks. His time in WWII however changed him. He speaks with a heavy German accent and continually refers to Megatron as the Fuehrer. He is now doggedly loyal to Megatron and the cause. In robot mode he carries a heavy multi-purpose weapon which fires laser bolts, 30 mm rounds, and ‘dumb fire’ rockets. For summer, it was warm and as the city was bracing itself for possible attack from Nazi Germany, me and a few of my friends where hanging out in Petrov forest, just on the outskirts of Kiev. Sure we were worried about the fact that one of the biggest military powers in Europe was about to invade us, as they had already invaded the Ukrainian borders and Belarus, and was only a matter of time until they would hit our beloved Kiev. We were hanging around the forest and sitting by the bottom of big thick trees. We were talking about school and girls, I was only 8 at the time, but I hung about with a large amount of kids, ranging from my age to about 14. We weren’t fazed by the Nazi invasion news, and us being kids, didn’t feel the need to listen to the news about the war. We began to hear the noise of trucks and tank wheels. We saw them coming from the part of the woods we never dared to tread, for it was too easy to get lost. We saw a large amount of trucks carrying injured Soviet soldiers, and Soviet tanks drove with fire burning on their armour. One of the tanks spotted us and a man got out. He approached us and told us to leave the forest and head for the shelters, and that the Nazi advance was coming. We were shitting ourselves. We got up and began to walk the short walk to suburbia. As we ran to where we thought was safe, the air raid siren sounded as we saw the civilians running to the shelters and to their houses. Suddenly I realised we forgot to tell our friend Navillrosky Truboia. I decided to run back to get him since I had some time until the Nazi advance hit the city. As I entered the forest I was extremely anxious, and any noise would make me jump. I began to run to where we'd last seen Navillrosky. He told me he was going to check out the deep part of the forest, which I said earlier is easy to get lost in. I had no choice but to go to the deep part of the forest. I was running when I became out of breath. I heard someone shout my name, I turned, and saw it was Eponialitzky Rovasoky. He said he wanted to help me find Navillrosky. While we were running in the deep forest, I saw Nazi soldiers walking slowly, then I heard two bangs. I blacked out. As I was slowly regaining consciousness, I felt my chest was in agony. I couldn’t move, when I slowly opened my eyes to see Wehrmacht soldiers going through my bag. I saw one had discovered the instrument my grandfather gave me, and they were punching Eponialitzky. In SupCom, a Blitzkrieg is a way to punch a hole in enemy defenses and flood into its less defended back. To pull it off the player needs strong, fast units and especially to keep momentum. Phase 1 of a Blitzkrieg assault begins with an indirect fire bombardment (by air or artillery, including naval artillery) focused on a single spot to maximize damage dealt in the shortest time frame possible. A good tactic is to issue the Hold Fire command, define your attack orders, and then cancel Hold Fire for all units at once. Phase 2 starts as soon as the weak point - a turreted wall, a firebase, an opposing army - is destoyed. Fast, heavily armored units pour into the breach and keep moving until they get to their intended targets, that can be enemy resource facilities, factories, or Commanders.
