Tadakatsu Honda
rdfs:comment
Tadakatsu is a giant, clad in thick armor draped with gold prayer beads and iron antlers protruding from the helmet, possessing great strength in each of his blows. He is most closely associated with Ieyasu Tokugawa, and sometimes (when Ieyasu was a boy) let him sit on one shoulder. He cannot (or possibly will not) talk, so players don't know what he is thinking unless they can translate the noises he makes, sometimes written as long lengths of exclamation points. He wields a huge drill-spear, with which he can do a considerable amount of damage and his element is lightning. Honda helps Samanosuke Akechi and Jacques to defeat Nobunaga Oda. In the final stages of the game, Tadakatsu is caught in a trap at Azuchi and killed by Ranmaru Mori who discovered his treachery. Tadakatsu can be playable when completing the game once and select 'Tales of Heihachi'. In 'Tales of Heihachi", Heihachi actually sought Samanosuke out so that he can put a stop to the Genma. He helps fix a major gate in Sakai which help keep the Genma away and slaughters the remaining Genma with Samanosuke. Tadakatsu Honda is a one of Ieyasu Tokugawa's retainers who attended to his lord in several campaigns. He is Ina's father. After his death, Tadakatsu has been heralded as a mighty and intelligent warrior, said to have returned from all of his battles unscathed. People in the Edo period have lauded him with several honorary titles, one of which includes the Four Guardian Kings of Tokugawa. His Nobunaga's Ambition counterpart is sixteenth place in Gamecity's character popularity ranking for 2015. The Nobunaga no Yabou 201X poll for 4-star officers puts him in eighteenth place. Before his playable debut in the Samurai Warriors series, he served as the model character for generic generals in Samurai Warriors. He acts as the figurative Dynasty Warriors Lu Bu of the series. Fans voted him to twenty-ninth place in Gamecity's Sengoku Musou 3: Empires character popularity poll. For the Samurai Warriors 4 poll, he placed forty-ninth. His Nobunaga's Ambition counterpart is sixteenth place in Gamecity's character popularity ranking for 2015. The Nobunaga no Yabou 201X poll for 4-star officers puts him in eighteenth place. In Saihai no Yukue, his height is 201 cm and he is 45 years old. He reads and trains as a hobby and his favorite food is rice. Before Heihachi departs Samanosuke reminds that Tokugawa are aligned with the Genma and what he is doing would count as treason, however Heihachi remarks back to Samanosuke that he is fully aware of what he is doing. Tadakatsu Honda or Iron Ox, is a character from the Sengoku Basara series. He is a giant clad in thick armor draped with gold prayer beads and iron antlers protruding from the helmet, possessing great strength in each of his blows. He is most closely associated with Ieyasu Tokugawa, and sometimes lets him sit on one shoulder. He cannot talk, so players don't know what he is thinking unless they can translate the noises he makes, sometimes written as long lengths of exclamation points. He wields a huge drill-spear, with which he can do a considerable amount of damage and his element is lightning.
