rdfs:comment
Dirk the Daring is the protagonist from the Dragon's Lair series. He is one of the many one-and-done characters from the Summer 2002 Contest. After losing to Max Payne in the first round, Dirk never appeared again in any contest. In Dragon's Lair 2: Time Warp, Dirk has married Daphne and had children. The evil wizard Mordroc has captured Daphne. Dirk must travel through time with a time machine who claims to be Mordroc's brother. He must travel through eras like the prehistoric age, the house of Lewis Carroll; creator of Alice In Wonderland, the Garden of Eden, the house of Beethoven with his creative gust, and Ancient Egypt. He must rescue Daphne before Mordroc places the Ring of Doom around her finger, making her his monstrous bride forever. After defeating Mordroc, Dirk rescues Daphne and escapes from Mordroc's castle with the time machine, bringing back the treasures Dirk collected to his family.
