The Wehrmacht are featured in every Medal of Honor game as the primary antagonists to date, with the exceptions of the 2010 Medal of Honor game, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, and Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault, the former being replaced by the Insurgent faction and the latter the Imperial Japanese Military faction. The Wehrmacht was the unified armed forces of Germany from the Nazi Party's rise to power until the end of World War II. The Wehrmacht English: literally, Defensive Might, or more accurately, Defense Forces – from German: wehren, to defend and die Macht, the might/power) is the unified armed forces of Germany from 1900 till today. It consisted of the Heer (army), the Kriegsmarine (navy) and the Luftwaffe (air force). Wehrmacht (German: "defence force" or more literally "defence-power") was the name of the unified armed forces of Germany from 1935 to 1945. It consisted of the Heer (army), the Kriegsmarine (navy) and the Luftwaffe (air force). The Waffen-SS, an initially-small paramilitary section of Heinrich Himmler's Allgemeine SS that grew to nearly a million strong during World War II was, De Facto, a fourth branch of the Wehrmacht, under operational and field command of OKW and OKH. The Wehrmacht was driving on Moscow when the Japanese invaded Hawaii in December 1941. However, news of their defeat outside the Soviet capital was driven from the headlines as the Japanese ran rampant throughout the Pacific Ocean. After the first attempt by the US Navy to retake Hawaii failed, the Wehrmacht began a thrust toward Stalingrad. Footage of their success was screened for the residents of Hawaii at cinemas. thumb|200px|Wehrmacht w natarciu. Pytanie twojego kolegi Wehrmacht – niemiecka organizacja pacyfistyczna. Oczywiście, historia wypaczyła troszeczkę jej funkcję, niemniej zrzeszała ona takie sławy, jak Gunter Tusck czy Papa Ratzi. The Wehrmacht were the Armed Forces of Germany during World War II. The Wehrmacht had three official branches: the army (German: Heer), the air force (German: Luftwaffe), and the navy (German: Kriegsmarine). Unofficially, the SS or, more specifically, the Waffen SS became a fourth branch of the Wehrmacht by the end of the war. By mid-1944 the Army had been driven back to Germany. It had suffered heavy casualties and was now using old men and young boys as part of the so called "Volkssturm" ("People's Storm"), a last effort to counter Allied advances. The Wehrmacht is a German army featured in Company of Heroes. The term Wehrmacht ('defence force') is used to describe the Unified Armed Force of Germany between the years of 1935 till 1945. It consisted of the German Army (Heer), German Airforce (Luftwaffe) and the German Navy (Kriegsmarine). The Wehrmacht was also referred to as the German Army. It replaced the name Reichswehr after 1935, and was dissolved by the Allies in 1945 at the end of World War II when it was defeated by the Allies. The Kriegsmarine is administrated by the Grobadmiral Erich Raeder and replaced by Karl Doniztz after Raeder's retirement. The Luftwaffe is leaded by the Reichmarschall Hermann Goring. Concurrently, a Wehrmacht Generalmajor, arriving in a Sd.Kfz. 251 half-track vehicle, was stationed at the occupied American White House as liaison officer in order to relay orders from Adolf Hitler to the Na'kuhl, who were purportedly developing advanced weaponry for Nazi Germany. Under orders to provide the Na'kuhl with resources, the misguided general belatedly realized that they were following their own agenda and was subsequently killed by the Na'kuhl leader Vosk. (ENT: "Storm Front", "Storm Front, Part II") See also: * German warcrimes on the Eastern Front * The Holocaust * Warcrimes of the Wehrmacht It was, and is still commonly believed, that the Wehrmacht had very little or no involvement in the Holocaust, and seldom committed war-crimes. This is incorrectas, while it is true that the majority of humane and professional military commanders were in the Wehrmacht, as opposed to the SS and other more heavily Nazi dominated organizations, there were still many war-crimes and acts of genocide which were committed by the Wehrmacht. Many of these crimes were committed on the Eastern Front. The Wehrmacht was the military of Nazi Germany, not the army. It consisted of the Heer (army), Luftwaffe (air force), and Kriegsmarine (navy). The Waffen-SS was NOT a branch of the Wehrmacht, though SS units fought alongside the Heer and fell under Heer field commanders. Unlike the SS, the Wehrmacht was initially an apolitical military; all Nazis had to resign from the party before they could join. When it became clear that things were fucked for Germany, Nazis were allowed to join the Wehrmacht. Even children could join. Naczelnym dowódcą Wehrmachtu był Adolf Hitler. Wehrmacht soldiers were known to be highly trained and adaptable soldiers. This combined with advanced German equipment made the Wehrmacht one of the deadliest armies of the World War II era. The Wehrmacht (meaning defence force) is the unified armed forces the Third Reich which fought at the World War II. It consists of the Heer (Army), the Kriegsmarine (Navy) and the Luftwaffe (Air Force), though the term nowadays almost exclusively refers to the Heer. German military conscripts are the main enemy force in Normandy and other regions of occupied France. These minimally trained German troops are expected to fight from behind concrete fortifications and to gain time for the infantry and mobile troops to arrive and repel an invading force. During its conquest of Europe, Germany has conscripted "volunteers" from France, Italy, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Poland, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Asian Russia, North Africa, Russia, Ukraine, and even India. The Waffen SS also be considered part of the Wehrmacht as it was under the command of the army even though the SS was separate from the Wehrmacht. The Wehrmacht was the military of Nazi Germany from 1935 to 1945. It was made up of the Heer (army), the Luftwaffe (air force), and the Kriegsmarine (navy). The Waffen SS also be considered part of the Wehrmacht as it was under the command of the army even though the SS was separate from the Wehrmacht. The forces were highly trained and professional when the war began but deteriorated rapidly after 1942. The collapse of the Luftwaffe made possible the transfer of a large number of new men into the army, but it was too late. After 1941 it participated in the Holocaust, killing many Jews as well as Russian prisoners and civilians. By mid-1944 the Army had been driven back to Germany. It had suffered heavy casualties and was now using old men and young boys as part of the so called "Volkssturm" ("People's Storm"), a last effort to counter Allied advances. The Wehrmacht was the unified armed forces of Germany from the Nazi Party's rise to power until the end of World War II. See also: * German warcrimes on the Eastern Front * The Holocaust * Warcrimes of the Wehrmacht It was, and is still commonly believed, that the Wehrmacht had very little or no involvement in the Holocaust, and seldom committed war-crimes. La Wehrmacht fu un'organizzazione preposta all'esportazione del "Nuofo Ortine Mondialen" (più o meno come oggi i Marine sono preposti all'esportazione della Democrazia). Once the Germans reached Stalingrad, they fought a vicious street by street battle with the Red Army, which turned into a disaster during the winter of 1942-3 as the Russians encircled and destroyed the Wehrmacht. After this disaster, the Germans were on the ropes, but they managed to re-establish their positions and even regain some ground, resulting in a stalemate on the Eastern Front. Wehrmacht byl tvořen třemi hlavními složkami: [[Soubor:Platz der Wehrmacht.jpg|thumb|V Praze patřil k k oblíbeným destinacím Kulaťák, někdy i nazývaný Platz der Wehrmacht.]] The Wehrmacht is a faction in both Day of Defeat and Day of Defeat: Source. They are the German Armed Forces, and are comprised of a land branch (the Heer), a sea branch (the Kriegsmarine), and an air branch (the Luftwaffe). While the Luftwaffe are not commonly found in Medal of Honor games, the air-based infantry (who operate under Luftwaffe command), the Fallschirmjaegers are an enemy featured in Airborne. The Heer are most commonly the enemy in Medal of Honor games, along with the Waffen S.S. The Matrosen, Kriegsmarine sailors, are found rarely in open combat. Usually they are only found in U-boat related missions, but the opeining mission in European Assault features normal sailors. Every branch of the Wehrmacht is represented at some point. The Heer is under command of the Generalfeldmarschall Wilheim Keitel. The Kriegsmarine is administrated by the Grobadmiral Erich Raeder and replaced by Karl Doniztz after Raeder's retirement. The Luftwaffe is leaded by the Reichmarschall Hermann Goring. In Wolfenstein: The New Order, the Wehrmacht discovered a secret placement of Da'at Yichud where the German soldiers stealed the secrets inside the placement. All the informations are gave for the general Wilheim Strasse where he can develop his advanced weapons for the German Reich. Despite the unsucessful assault at the Deathshead's compound, general Strasse continued to develop his researches until the Wehrmacht win the World War II by the creation of the atomic bomb. After the war, all armies of the world were absorbed by the military forces of the Third Reich and the Wehrmacht is now considered has the most powerful army of the history of mankind. All technologies developed inside the Deathshead's compound give the Wehrmacht more powerful each day until all soldiers are invincibles. Although the Wehrmacht has no playable campaign, it is featured both in Company of Heroes and Opposing Fronts as the German 7th Army, 17th SS Panzergrenadier Division, Panzer Lehr Division, 12th SS Panzer Division, and 21st Panzer Division. Wehrmacht soldiers were known to be highly trained and adaptable soldiers. This combined with advanced German equipment made the Wehrmacht one of the deadliest armies of the World War II era. These conscripts form the Ost (East) battalions and have been sent to guardthe western front in Europe to free better-trained German troops for the fights against the Soviets. Despite their low status, however, these troops can inflict severe causalities on invading Allied forces. The Wehrmacht was a professional military like any other, except it was better trained and equipped in 1939. It did not stand for undying loyalty to Adolf Hitler and the vast majority of soldiers and officers had no idea that the Holocaust was occurring. In fact, most soldiers distrusted the SS. The Wehrmacht wasn't completely Nazi like the SS, on the contrary many ordinary Germans who weren't Nazi were conscripted into the Wehrmacht. The Wehrmacht was an army that served the Third Reich and did the bidding of the Nazi rulers. The Wehrmacht were great in the respect that they were good at what they did, but they were too blind with the murdering of Jews (the SS killed Jews) and not numerous enough so the allies defeated them. They had Panzer tanks, the Stuka dive-bomber, the MP-40, Luger pistols, and were the first to use jets in combat. A good number of Allied officers like Patton and Montgomery respected some of the German leadership, like Erwin Rommel.
