Mala was a remote planet in the Surd Nebula in the Outer Rim Territories of the galaxy. It was home to an unidentified near-Human species with white hair. By the end of the Sith–Imperial War, Mala's inhabitants had developed a primitive iron age civilization consisting of both sedentary communities and a barbarian people known as the Schor-Goya. The One Sith used Mala as a testing ground for a new biological weapon, which exterminated all life on the planet and knocked the planet from its orbit. The sole survivor of the Mala genocide was the Sith Darth Wredd, who would play an important role in the destruction of the underground One Sith movement in 139 ABY. Mala might refer to: * Mala (Vidiian), a Vidiian female * Mala (Brunali), a Brunali female Mala is a recognized member of Amazon society on Themyscira. Mala has occasionally doubled for Wonder Woman when the situation has called for it. Mala is Apeslayer's trusted lieutenant in his fight against the apes. Mala was once second-in-command of the planet Krypton's planetary defense force. Mala (around 26BC - unknown) was an Egyptian boy who sailed to Hawaii at an unspecified age. Many say he was thirteen, while others say he was twelve, eleven, ten, nine or even six. Mala es una de las canciones de 31 Minutos. Aparece en la Segunda Temporada de la serie, y aparece en el episodio "Fiesta en la Casa de Juanín". She has a tuft of red-brown baby fuzz on her head that runs down to her back. Her brown eyes are always shining and she almost never stops smiling. Many years ago, something happened to her. No one knew quite what, but it corrupted her. Some say she came into contact with an evil spirit that possesed her body. Others say she simply turned from the cause for her own greedy reasons. She lusts after power. The first time she heard of the Kanohi Elementa was about ten years ago... It was in an obscure tablate she read at the Ko-Metru base. It held ten riddles. She had shown it to Sirea, who made it top priority of the order. And then... she changed. Shortly after that, she was expelled from the order. She had been acting evil. She was set to have her memories erased on a date, as well as her body changed... mutated into something else, but she broke out of the holding cell... ...From there, no one knows what happened. Some say she's still on the lookout for the Kanohi Elementa, and will follow anyone to their source... Then attempt to claim them for herself. Others say she's on a hunt for the relics of an ancient warrior, but whatever she is doing, know she is a powerful foe... Queen Mala is the leader of the Defenders of the Wing, a dragon worshiping tribe. Mala, Simranee, prayer beads or Rosaries are used by Sikhs and by members of various religions such as Islam, Roman Catholicism, Orthodox Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Bahá'í to count the repetitions of mantras (sacred phrases), Shabads (prayers or hymns), chants or devotions. A mala is a set of beads strung on a thread usually made from 108 beads, though other numbers, usually divisible by 9, are also used. Although, traditional Sikhs generally use a Mala with 108 beads in keeping with the earlier Hindu tradition, in Sikhi, this number is not written in stone. Smaller numbers are now becoming more popular as these are easier to carry in the pocket and more in-line with the western life-style. Sikhs also use prayer string made of wool with 99 knots rather than beads. The founder of the religion, Guru Nanak Dev Ji, is often depicted in paintings with the mala in his hand. Malas are used for keeping count while reciting, chanting, or mentally repeating a mantra or the name or names of a the Lord, such as Waheguru or Satnam, etc. This practice is known in Sanskrit as "japp" and Sikhs refer to it as "Naam jaapna". In Sikhism, the mala may also be used for keeping count of the number of repetitions of Shabads or to aid in concentration, or for general meditation, etc. Although all the beads are the same size, there is always one bead on a mala which is called the sumeru, bindu, stupa, or guru bead which is usually bigger or otherwise unique. Counting should always begin with a bead next to the sumeru. Each time the reciter passes the sumeru, one cycle of the mala is completed. Since the beads are fingered in an automatic manner, they allow the user to keep track of how many prayers have been said with a minimal amount of conscious effort, which in turn allows greater attention to be paid to the prayers themselves.
