Lava Bud
rdfs:comment
Lava Buds are young Lava Piranhas that appear in Chapter 5 on Lavalava island in Paper Mario. They assist the giant Lava Piranha in battle, but are weaker. In the first battle, they spit out a Petit Piranha directly at Mario, but in the second battle they let the petit attack on its own. Also in the second battle, they cannot be killed. They are simply stunned for a few turns upon reaching 0 HP. Lava Buds have a strong resemblance to Naval Buds. Lava Buds are enemies featured in Paper Mario. During the boss battle with Lava Piranha, the giant plant uses two of these dangerous guys to aid him in battle, allowing him three attacks each turn. After deafeating the giant monster, Lava Piranha sinks back into the pit of lava behind him, then suddenly comes back out, covered in fire. These two buds will also catch on fire, making them even more of a threat as well. However, this makes them vulnerable to water and ice attacks like Lava Piranha himself.
